I am a resident at Chapter House, and I am in the second stage. I must admit that Chapter House has done a lot of good for me. However, they have done something to wrong us, as well. Chapter House is continuing to house a resident who has repeatedly proven himself to be a serious threat to other clients' persons and property. Therefore, I and the other residents signed a formal grievance that was to be sent to the Texas Department of Health Services. Managers and above at Chapter House caught wind of our formal grievance and strongly discouraged it, calling it "bullying" and a "mutiny." I believe this response is wildly inappropriate, and I and the other clients are very disappointed that Chapter House is reluctant to the right thing.
I want to thank the incredible team at Chapter House for always being the confidants, advisors and role models that my son and I needed. All of you have taught and continue to teach about life, and how to handle obstacles along the way to recovery. Because of Chapter House, my son has his life back and has chosen to continue his journey through mentoring others in need. This entire program works and I am eternally thankful to each staff member for their heartfelt dedication to help.Several outpatient programs were unsuccessful and not until we discovered Chapter House did we realize that this inpatient extended care program had the tools with a highly professional team that is necessary for complete recovery. As my son celebrates his 2 year sobriety today, I want to thank each and everyone involved in his recovery. A special thank you to Jeff and Aaron for your commitment to my son's life!Michelle P.Tucson,AZ
I would highly recommend to Chapter House to any man who struggles with alcohol or drug addiction and is ready for a new life. I could not stay sober for the life of me and was looking at a short lifespan. After a 30 day treatment in Arizona I went to Chapter House in Richardson. The level of care and detail that was given to me meet my needs and allowed me to connect to something greater than myself to turn my life around. I couldn't graduate college on my own and with the help of Chapter House I got my bachelors degree while I was in the program there. Heidi, Mike, Aaron, Parker, and others have had a profound effect on my life and I'm proud to call them my friends today. They were completely straightforward with my family and I on costs and worked with us when finances became a challenge. If you're ready for a new life, this place is for you.

Chapter House has top-notch staff and a program that shows it. As a professional in the industry, it is refreshing to see an atmosphere that doesn't treat men like clients-they are truly family. The guests establish themselves in recovery and an alumni community that has stuck together for several years now. Clinically, Chapter House boasts some of the best counselors and directors I have seen. The Dallas recovery community is all the better because of the Chapter House men!
