Best doctor, did an amazing job and she has the best bedside manners.
Dr. Giesler is a Rockstar. I went in for 3 procedures in one day. She talked to me before the procedures and made feel comfortable. Very compassionate and easy to talk to.
Great Surgeon. Dr. Giesler is as stated: Confident / Competent and put my nerves at ease. Her bedside manner is open discussion. Q &A in full transparency and understanding. She explained everything from prep / procedure/ post and recovery. Thank you Dr. Giesler and office team.
Charges $560 for a 15 minute office visit. Look elsewhere and try to get pricing upfront.
Charges $560 for a 15 minute office visit and not a very useful one at that.
Terrible doctor. Overly aggressive approach designed to increase your symptoms rather than alleviate them. She recommended a ligation for a “hemmorhoid” in order to alleviate my pain, downplaying the ligation as a bit of pressure and a urge to go. What I felt was insane pain (9/10) and an insane urge to go the bathroom. I asked her twice to inform me of how uncomfortable this procedure could be. She intentionally downplayed the discomfort of the procedure, therefore deceiving me and misrepresenting the risks of the procedure. I did not have a protruding hemmorhoid; she later told me that she did this to reduce moisture in the region to promote healing. I had no perception that this was why she wanted to do the ligation based on her initial explanation. Then when I’m continuing to deal with pain, she recommends a painful biopsy to healing tissue. She then uses a scope to examine me, causing me to bleed and my discomfort to increase tenfold. I don’t feel that she accurately represents the risks of her approach and takes a highly aggressive approach that may impede your healing rather than promote it. Be careful, I question the competence of a provider who cannot accurately tell me how painful a procedure can be. Good luck
Very kind & professional
I had problems for almost a year in Tyler and was referred to Dr Giesler by a friend. She corrected the problem with minimal surgery. One of the office staff is not so nice, but the dr. Is fabulous!
Dr. Giesler is incredible. I was referred to her by my internist. Her bedside manner is awesome and she explains everything very well with an ease of understanding. Dr. Giesler remedied my situation with minimal surgery and I feel absolutely wonderful. Followup care was very good as well.
My husband had surgery on yesterday. Dr. Geisler is very professional and exudes confidence and her bedside manner is the best. Presby Allen is very clean, staff overall are wonderful. My only complaint, is that it takes forever to be placed in a room , even when you’re told the room is available. Finally, time for discharge, also a nightmare. Discharge orders per doctor was written 3 hours prior , but, nursing staff, can’t locate an order. Go figure.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
