Dr. Hughes and her staff are amazing! I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and she was recommended by my GP. My parents came to my appointment where Dr. Hughes explained my diagnosis and treatment options thoroughly....even my parents were impressed by her knowledge! My Mom, who lives a few hours away, had breast cancer last year (before me) and said she learned more from Dr. Hughes than her own doctors! She takes the time to explain things and answer all your questions and never makes you feel rushed. She let's you cry when you need to cry and laughs with you when you're ready to laugh. She is exactly the surgeon you want to walk with you during your cancer journey. She performed my lumpectomy and subsequent double mastectomy. I trust her and her staff implicitly!

The person who answered the phones is very rude.She was nice when I called the first time and told me one thing,then when I called back 4 days later she said she was the one who talked to me the first time and try to re-tracked what she told me.So I wasted 4 days waiting for nothing.

I can’t recommend her enough. She helped me through a really scary time in September 2018. She genuinely cares about her patients and is not only a great surgeon but a wonderful person. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Hughes is very knowledgeable and caring. She took the time to answer all my questions. I wasn't even sure what questions to ask she anticipated what I needed to know and explained everything in simple everyday language. She also provided information in writing, so I was able to review the information later in a non-stressful situation.
