Oren N. Fass's Online Review Report Card

It's very interesting to me that a doctors office that had no reviews for 7 months and then gets a negative review automatically has a new 5 star review the same day....hmmm. I am the daughter of an elderly mother that was truly broken down with tears in her eyes not only from knowing her sight might be affected but the rude and mean demeanor of this office, after they shouted at her to leave and never come back. My elderly mother did not know the language and so we had a translator that was just as heartless in his response to this situation. Yes, they do have a Spanish speaker in staff but no he is not a nice person with patience. If you want a truly caring office, this is not it. Don't be misguided by the 5 star review that was written about 5 minutes ago.

Phenomenal Staff and Physician, I was informed by my optometrist that I needed to have eye surgery in both eyes. I was recommended to see one of the big ophthalmologist groups which I did not like as it was a cattle calling with no personal attention. I called my insurance and they recommended a few doctors in my area (Plano) and so I chose Dr. Fass. I was not disappointed, his staff took time to explain everything about my upcoming appointment and what was to be expected including my costs. They answered all my questions without making feel rushed or that I had a limit on the questions I could ask also I loved the fact that their office was not overbooked. I'm scheduled to have surgery now on my second eye and so far everything is fantastic, I can not recommend enough this doctor and his office and would give 10 stars!

As the children of a 65 yr old mother we try to involve ourselves as much as possible in the care of our mother. Our mother got diagnosed with cataract and we were all heartbroken and just stressed out. My brother able to make it to her appointment with her FaceTimed us to help us feel at ease and understand the diagnoses and next steps but unfortunately this doctors office is not sympathetic at all. So if you are looking to take your family member to a doctor who will be understanding and sympathetic DO NOT COME HERE!

John the manager is absolutely awful. As the children of a 65 yr old mother we try to involve ourselves as much as possible in the care of our mother. Terrible office staff, including the disrespectful manager. After paying 300.00 they told me they would not provide help anymore because I was texting my sick daughter and oddly enough instead of being kind about it and just talking to me the office manager yelled at me and was so rude. He shut the window in my face and left to talk to the doctor and came back saying no we don’t like people who yell(even though it was because we demanded our money back if they are not going to be providing the services we paid for).

Great doctor and very professional!

Very much recommend. My wife had a complicated case of cataracts that.i could cause some nasty consequences if done improperly. Dr. FASS PROVED HIS SKILL. Very pleased with the outcome. He helped .my wife to see again. Very thankful.

amazing doctor !!!! 10/10

I have no issue with Dr. Fass, however; his office staff with communication is poor. Last week on the day of surgery I was informed that I needed to get pre op release from PCP. Had to cancel surgery to see my PCP. Yesterday, they contacted me with Dr. Fass fee's $783, surgery scheduled for tomorrow.. really? Now it's $483.00 that must be paid today, I regret the day this office (Hampton) was recommended. Most offices are more efficient with communication. My pcp referred this office and communication is confusing ( young person that seems unsure of information Richardson location) and disappointing that they wait less than 24hrs to tell you what is due up front! Not to mention $300 eye drops.
