List of Physician Partners Of America's Reviews
1) The owner group Physician Partners of America is under investigation by the department of justice for fraud. See point two.2) They fraudulently try to pass along bills that were denied trying to get you to pay for them when insurance doesn’t and you’re not responsible either.I didn’t feel it was appropriate to hand over my case without notifying me to a NP who clearly was new, didn’t know my medical history, and didn’t offer any true treatment plan. I was a patient for 1.5 months and left them in worse shape than when I entered. I tweaked my back, never was told to come in, realized my back was swelling and my spinal erector was so tight it was protruding the skin and I was told to ice it... Dr Howard ordered an MRI but never reviewed it. The NP did but I had to ask about my results. There was a blatant error in the report and the NP never looked beyond that even though I insisted that the findings stated don’t match previous reports. I had 2 major operations where I was not allowed to walk for 3 months after each operation. I’ve dealt with many PM drs in efforts to avoid these surgeries so after 3 years of failed treatments I know what is an effective treatment and what is not and what I was receiving was below the appropriate standard of care. It wasn’t all negative though. The office staff was nice for the most part and they didn’t recommend a facet joint injection. I felt disrespected as a patient and that they did not understand that I know what I am talking about in regards to mechanisms to injury and their effect.
I have been coming here the last 3-4 years and when I say do not come here look at all the other comments. They lose drs constantly. The recent new dr cut my medication in half with no reason only cause I'm self pay and couldn't afford the non working procedures they want you to do just so they can give u meds. This place was great but has gone down hill not long after I was there.
Initially, Dr. Howard seemed genuine and caring. He was very good to my husband during the height of Covid. Then out of the blue he announced that he doesn't want patients who don't require procedures. He gave us a month & discharged my husband to the sidewalk. His RNP didn't know what he's doing because she was ordering imaging while he's ripping out the chart. The staff may be friendly, but they play too much & goof around in front of clients too much. This was a good stop over in my husbands care, but not for the long haul. I DO NOT recommend for serious care.
I have a good friend who was a patient here. She called me in tears after her most recent appointment because she was treated poorly. She is a larger woman, and her opinion of the situation is that her weight offended Dr. Howard's delicate sensibilities. It is so easy to be kind and decent to people, but this idiot Howard hasn't quite mastered the art of not being a terrible person. I hope she finds a doctor who is kinder and more empathetic. I have a great doctor at Southwest Pain Management that I hope she will consider seeing instead.
I am impressed with the staff today as am I always, very professional and always happy. My appointments at always at 8am so they help start my day. Allison is always very helpful with my appointments and scheduling outside procedures. This is the only dr I enjoy coming to. Great people!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
