List of Kara Carter's Reviews
One of the absolute bests! We were temporarily living in the area and used her for my newborn son - 1 year. We are SO sad to be moving because honestly, not sure if another pediatrician can compare to her. My son got excited every time we got to the doctor because he couldn't wait to see everyone.
We’ve been going to Dr. Carter for a couple of years. The office is really clean and organized (both before and during covid). Dr. Carter takes her time with us, and is kind and knowledgeable. Most importantly great with kids.
Dr. Carter has seen my son for 10 years. She is the best! Very patient and understanding. My son loves her so much that when she moved locations a couple of times, we moved with her!
Best pediatric physician.
All 4 of my children love Dr Carter. She has such a friendly demeanor that puts the kids at ease. We recommend her to all of our new neighbors looking for a Katy area pediatrician.
My baby girl had Torticollis since birth and we kept asking for guidance about how to start physical therapy to ensure that she does not get flat head. Dr. Carter kept on downplaying the whole things and then actually caused delay to recommend her for Physical Therapy. She showed no care whatsoever to seek a second opinion. My wife and I - both are engineers and we do seek second opinions in our profession. Now that we are seeing another doctor, we have learnt that there is no such protocol for delaying the Physical Therapy. I recommend everyone to make the best choice for their kids. One time I called and pressed to get information about physical therapy, the nurse spoke to me at length and said they will call back but no-one called back. Update: 12/20/2019 - Such is the level of personal care that when I called their office to provide feedback, someone said that they will call. I missed a call from their office at 5:00 and no-one called back again. Who cares?
Dr. Carter has a very friendly and caring personality, we absolutely love her! We drive from the north side of town just to see her and are always pleased when we visit. She takes the time to listen to concerns, and asks questions to try and understand all areas/aspects of our children’s health and growth.

Dr.Carter is such a breath of fresh air! She was so attentive to my 10 year old daughter, and like talking to an old friend. She listened to all my concerns and this is the most vocal I've been able to be in a long time(with a pediatrician). I'm so happy she is my two babies Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
