Well for the Dr. It is a 5 star for her. But for her new nurse and the receptionist they r horrible, possibly, they don’t know what they doing. I took my mum for her physical last week Friday and the doctor needed a lab work on her. But unfortunately, my mum did eat something before the appointment. The Dr. Asked me to bring her back any of the mornings (WALK IN) so her lab could be done. Yesterday morning, I took her there for her lab draws, the receptionist immediately said u need to book an appointment and never wanted to hear me out. I told her I was here last week and this is what the doctor said; she never cared to listen. And I requested to see the doctor, she said, ohh she is booked for the entire day, u won’t see her. The next thing the nurse jumped out and said u can’t see the doctor now. The nurse went inside and came out with a paper and handed it over to me saying “here, u can go to these places for lab draw” I simply told her u can keep it. Right there in front of me she tore the papers and boldly told me well u can’t see the doctor for the day, go and book appointment. Meanwhile, I met these 2 people last week when my mum came for her physical, the nurse did the initial assessment and even handed me her medical referral papers but failed to give me that paper that she tore in my presence. I believed the moment she saw me, she remembered the paper that she missed out to give me on the last visit and then handed it over to me in a rude way. My mum have been Dr. Nirmala Kethineni patient for years. If there is any further follow up that requires an appointment it is been set by the receptionist on that same day before she leaves. But she failed to do so. Also, she constantly do a walk-in lab there, and there has never been any issues. Both the nurse and the receptionist showed I don’t care attitude even in their fall outs. I told them I’m changing her Dr and walked away. I believe the management should retrain them. The receptionist should undergo a vigorous training on how to attain to pple and also , she should be trained on how to follow up on pts as soon as they are leaving the facility. But the point is that she cared less. The nurse should know better that that lab is a crucial aspect of my mums visit which gives the doctor the base line of her treatments. But u never cared if that lab was to be done or not. 1 by 1, they will send away all the customers but remember that ur job also will b at risk if u don’t think, u should behave well to keep it.
I went to see Dr. Kethineni for my annual checkup , it was my first time with her. Had a great experience overall. She is very attentive, you will get her undivided attention, she ensured that i was very comfortable. Also, the staff is friendly and less wait time. I will definitely recommend her 😊.
Excellent
The entire staff at Village Medical at Richmond is considerate and caring. I'm squeamish when it comes to blood tests but the phlebotomist (wish I had gotten her name) made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. Dr. Kethineni really listens to your concerns as a patient and discusses the best path forward for healthcare, which I greatly appreciate. The office is also very clean and conveniently attached to a pharmacy. I've had some bad experiences with doctors in the area, so I am very happy to have found Village Medical!
Dr. K found a brain ?? tumor in a routine visit!!! Her testing is good and she referred me to an awesome specialist! She is fantastic! Can't say enough good things about her!!
And in my blood work all the blood tests for testing thyroid function were normal and she was still asking me to do an ultrasound scan for my thyroid which is totally doesn’t make sense. After that she gave me two more appointment for reviewing blood work and follow up. In the first place I felt like she was so much caring about my complain and gradually I felt that she was making me to do unnecessary testing and make us to get unnecessary appointments. I’m very disappointed about her explanation about my palpitation and she was acted like I was having a serious problem after my ECG was also normal which I did with an urgent care service. I was very frustrated about those unnecessary tests (Thyroid ultrasound) was given by her and I was asking her that I’m going to postponed them to next year beginning because then I can get some benefits from my Insurance but she was trying to make me to do them as soon as possible even though I didn’t have much seriousness.
Doctor is acting like very nice and giving so much unnecessary tests. she is so money minded. wait time is more than an hour even if you get the first appointment of the day. I strongly recommend not to pick this doctor as your physician.
I love this Dr. I drive 45min from Houston to go to pearland
Please Do not go to see this doctor. She only cares about Money!! Gets patients to do unnecessary tests and calls for appointments for no reason to get money. Even when there are no patients wait there is atleast an hour if you are lucky. Her receptionist is like a kid with braces who has no manners. They are horrible with getting the results to the patients. The worst Doctor in Houston!! Please don't go to her.
Overall, happy with the doctor, but I won't be going back because of the ridiculous wait time of over an hour each visit. The office waiting area is very dark and depressing as well. Would not recommend to a friend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
