List of Beau J. Ellenbecker's Reviews
We have been coming to Dr Ellenbecker for over 8 years and have had many discussions with him. He is willing to do research on topics and refers us to doctors who specialize in whatever the problem is at the time. He shows himself to be very caring and willing to talk in depth about the issue at hand. All in all we are pretty pleased with him and his help for us when we need it.
They took all our information, wasted 45 minutes to tell me they did not have an appointment until 5 months later. Wish they would have respected my time & told me earlier, the conversation would have ended there.
He is one of the best. He cares and he listens to you. Everyone there is very kind and understanding.
I thought maybe it was just me until I read the reviews and realized that they really are that bad. If you want to overpay for mediocre health care, Dr. Ellenbecker is for you.
Great caring Dr and the staff is really helpful and nice Dr Ellenbecker cares about his patients and listen , very happy that he is our Family Dr.
Dr. Ellenbecker is one of the best PCP I've ever had. His staff are always friendly, respond very quick through the online portal and update test results with comments/concerns. He takes his time to actually talk to you and listens.
I like Dr. Ellenbecker, but his staff and Baylor Scott and White need an evaluation on how to treat people correctly. I was scheduled for a telemedicine visit with a nurse practioner at 4 today. His staff called and said that because I had not seen Dr. Ellenbecker in 3 years that I would be considered a new patient...and that they weren't doing telemedicine visits for "new patients". They also weren't doing an in-patient visits for those with a fever. Which I understand. But then they referred me to an in-office urgent care? What sense does that make?
I've been going to Dr. Beau for several years and couldn't be happier with the time and attention he gives me. He listens to understand and then tells me what I need to hear in very clear terms. He is very honest and transparent and I've found the staff to be very professional and helpful when I need to speak with someone or need help outside of a regular appointment.
Poorest example of family healthcare. Clueless...
I have had doctor Ellenbecker as a family doctor for 7 years He seemed like an intelligent doctor. I have come to realize he is just a "band-aid" doctor. He really can't accuratley diagnise your problem. He takes a "shotgun " approach to your situation. I firmly believe because of negotiated insurance payments being so low, they want you coming in as much as possible. Don't waste your time. Go to a REAL specialist right off the bat. I also will say i came to see a doctor, not a nurse practitioner. Also when you return a call it is like starting over. No communication in that office. My impression is whiever answers the phone is in another city. Might as well be on another planet.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
