One of, if not the best, orthopedic spinal surgeons! I had emergency surgery performed by Dr. Ju in May 2021. He is amazing! I thank him each and everyday for his wonderful knowledge and skill! There is no way I can recommend him highly enough!

My mom had a surgery that did not go well and Dr. Ju was able to go in and correct it and give her back her life. This is who you want to go see if you are struggling with back or neck pain. He cares for his patients and works with you to give you the best outcome.

I can’t thank Dr. Ju and Chapman and Texas Back Institute enough for where I am today. I had surgery in November and immediately I felt the difference. I’m just now leaving my second follow-up appointment and was told everything looks good and even reviewed the X-rays to prove it.When I say I was unable to take even two steps without pain I am not lying a bit. Two weeks prior to my surgery date my spine must have been sitting right on the nerves that ran down to my legs. All I could do was crawl and I didn’t want to even do that. I’ve been dealing with this spine issues since 7th grade and just never trusted any Dr. or procedure. Competed in college and just always pushed through the pain to make the next competition. So once again Thank you Dr. Ju, your team, Ms. Maria- MA for communicating with me during that very hard 2 weeks and the scheduler Ms. C Martinez for being very caring, sensitive and informative about what I needed to complete prior to the surgery and she got me to the staff at Rockwall for immediate help. Thank you thank you thank you…. Now I am limited as to what I can do at the moment but that’s nothing compared to what I have been limiting myself to for years prior.

Dr. Ju gave me my life back. I had two previous spinal fusions surgeries by different doctors. When I realized I would need a third, my previous surgeon recommended Dr. Ju and I am so glad she did. During my initial meeting with Dr Ju he exuded confidence and compassion and explained my diagnosis in terms I could understand. When we both agreed that I needed further fusion, he fully explained the procedure and took his time to answer all of my questions. The surgery went just as he said it would and now four months later I am back in the gym and riding my bike. Dr Ju truly gave me my active life back!

I had severe neck pain about 2 years ago and went to a surgeon to have it fixed. Within a few weeks the pain was back and it was worse. I went back to the surgeon and he said everything was fine. My primary doctor said it was NOT fine and referred me to Dr. Ju. He saw the problem and gave me options. He was confident and very detailed about why I was experiencing the pain and how to fix it. I am two months post operation and healing great. If I had done a little research I would have known I needed a second opinion. If you need surgery or are having to have a surgery redone Dr. Ju is definitely who you want to see!

I was transferred to Med City Plano with a severe infection that damaged my cervical and lumbar spine. I was so very fortunate that Dr. Ju was available to take on my case. I under went emergency surgery and thanks to Dr. Ju, six months later I am back to 100% of my previous function level. Absolutely one of the best physicians/surgeons I ever have had! I would very highly recommend him to anyone who is having spinal issues!

If you need surgery or a surgery corrected this is who you need to see! I am getting my life back because he was willing to correct a prior surgeons work that left me in immense pain.

I went to see Dr. Ju as a final end hopefully to the horrific pain I've been dealing with for 8 years. I was praying for surgery because I hurt that bad. I'm 55 years old and cannot bend or squat. My spine from neck to sacrum is a mess. Dr. Ju spent about 10 minutes with me after I waited for 35 minutes. He then, without even letting me know he changed me over to Dr. Lankford who indeed turned out to be soft spoken, blunt and went over all my issues which were all severe. He said with the shape my spine is in that surgery is really not an option. He studied my reports and looked at all my x-rays and scans. I spent a good while with him and he explained a lot. He sent me to a pain management and therapy clinic. Problem is they push for procedures that don't help me and now Medicare won't pay for anesthiology which leaves me in a big predicament. I'm being given minimum pain meds and muscle relaxers but nothing is helping. Am I just supposed to keep tolerating as best I can and wait until I die since no physicians wants to help me. Surely there's some kind of surgery I can get for my spine. A 40-50% reduction in my pain would be great for me. I need help!
