How sad when you have to switch from your doctor of almost a decade to another one because the front desk staff is devoid of any compassion or understanding. Didn’t even try. “Sorry, you arrived two minutes later than your appointment time”. Never mind that I waited oitside for two minutes because the Covid screener was not at their station. It felt like I was I was standing between them and their time to go home. I love my doctor, but when the staff don’t care enough to treat you with dignity and compassion, then what choice do I have but to guard my heart and find another doctors office? So sad.

Every morning when I listen to my husband cough for 20 minutes I am reminded of the 11 day delay in his treatment caused by Dr Siegels office staff. Test requests were sent to his office on 11/19 and after 4 calls they were found on 11/30 in his file. Amazing. Now, here we are in the middle of the holidays so nothing can be done. This could all have been handled before Thanksgiving and now it won't be addressed until 2021.

Dr Siegel' staff readily fit me in for an unexpected appointment. Other appts are timely and prompt. Dr S always sees his patients with a minimal waiting time. Most appointments he sees the patient on time. He is not only thorough but also great at explaining and insuring his patients understand their condition or any procedures needed. His office is one of the best prepared for the Coronavirus. Their virus 'procedures' let me feel at ease during my visit. A personal example of his abilities: Just before my 80th birthday he inserted a stent into my heart artery . A few hours later my wife drove me home and we even made a stop for ice cream!! Dr S has been my cardio for 15+ years --- I can think of no better endorsement than that.

Dr Siegel was extremely helpful regarding a timely exam needed for a surgery situation.

I had never seen a Cardiologist Doctor that's very professional, dedicated, honest, sweet, good listener, understanding, efficient, caring & I can go on & on; but I think y'all get my point(s). If you need/want this kind of doctor I very strongly recommend him.

I have been with Dr. Siegel and Austin Heart for over 20 years. For the past 6 years I have been living 5 hours away... didn't change my heart doctor. That should tell you how highly I think of Dr. Siegel and Austin Heart.

Dr. Siegel was able to install stents through my wrist instead of the alternative, the groin. My incision looked more like a mosquito bite than a heart operation. Recovery was quick and all is well. While I'm sure emergencies happen, I have never had to wait very long to see the doctor. Dr. Siegel is always friendly, remembers me and my personal details, and takes the time needed for the appointment, never rushed. His associates are always friendly and care about me and my issues. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Siegel is one of the best physicians that I have been treated by in my 80 years. I feel totally secure in his hands and through his expertise, he most likely saved my life during a heart attack episode 3 years ago. Through his skill, he cleared and placed a stent in a major heart artery blockage. The procedure was performed so flawlessly I fully recovered immediately. I especially like the way he continuously closely monitors my physical well being and promptly offers care to resolve any problems. I have found his entire support staff to be extremely helpful, friendly, and caring for my needs.
