I have been going to Dr. Ware for close to 20 years. She is thorough, friendly, and I would highly recommend her!

Dr Debra Ware practices with Advanced Eyecare & Surgery. This review is for Dr WareDr Ware has been my optometrist since mid 1999. She makes sure you understand every step of her exam, and calmly walks you through the "is it 1 or 2? 3 or 4?" questions (even when the patient reaches the point of saying nothing looks good ) Dr Ware understands when she needs to slow down, answer additional questions or concerns-and as a result successfully navigated me through LASIK surgery in 2000. My distance vision 17 years later is (still!) perfect-so Dr Ware is navigating my old eyes through reading glasses...My kids started visiting Dr Ware when they were 3 ( for a quick checkup because of family health concerns) and both have continued as patients throughout their teens and more. Dr Debra Ware received training in pediatric optometry and it shows. I've had the opportunity to see other optometrists in the Round Rock area since 1992: I'm thrilled that Dr Ware joined us in the late 1990's, and is with a great office in Advanced Eyecare & Surgery.

I really liked Dr Ware, very intelligent and professional. However, the staff was very unprofessional and unorganized. Trying to find my coverage, I was bombarded with rudeness from the front desk staff. I belive that Dr Ware's business would thrive if she hired quality helpful staff. I almost hate to go back because of the staff, but I will because of Dr. Wares professionalism. They front staff bicker amongst themsleves, sing, then have the audacity to tell us to turn off our smart phones which were keeping me busy while I waited. If Dr. Ware wants to have a thriving business, she needs to get rid of the front staff and get more qualified, trained staff up front. If it means paying a little more for quality, it will be so worth it. Overall my 'treatment' was good, I just wish that bitter taste would go away. I have never had a bad experience with Dr Ware's office and I have been seeing her for approximately 8 years. I have always had good service and good results.

I don't really have an issue with Dr. Ware but I will NEVER return to this office again because of her office staff. Totally disorganized, I have had problems EVERY time I've come in. Sometimes I order contacts and they forget to place the order, but never tell me, sometimes they order them but don't ask me for payment, so instead of billing me or calling me, they just don't place the order without letting me know. If they do place the order, I don't get a call when they come in, so I'm left waiting and wondering what happened. Once the shipment was lost (not really their fault, but someone should have called me!). Very frustrating!

The staff of Dr. Ware is very unorganized and unprofessional. If it weren't for me calling to check up on my insurance coverage they would never have notified me about the coverage. I only get one office visit paid for by my insurance or else I would be gone already. Next year she will never see or hear from me again. I highly suggest you use somebody else for your vision requirements.
