Esther De La Torre's Online Review Report Card

UPDATED: Unfortunately, I have to change my rating. Dr De La Torre herself is an outstanding doctor, but the staff and policies at Village Medical are at best disappointing, and at worst derelict. Responses to messages or refill requests are extremely slow. It takes about a week, usually, to get a response, and only then if repeated requests are sent. As I write this, they seem to be ignoring me entirely. Policies on prescriptions for ADHD medication are nuts. Drug testing is mandatory, as if having ADHD makes you an addict. That wouldn't be so bad, but they enforce this policy seemingly at random and without notice, with the approach being to deny a renewal without having provided any advance notice that a test was required to receive one. Overall, my experience with the doc, herself, has been positive, but the communication (or lack thereof) and what I can only describe as a failure to provide a minimum standard of care that at times rises to outright patient harm (such as ignoring patient communications) outweigh that experience by a long shot. No choice but to seek a different provider, I'm afraid, which is sad as I loved the doc, and doubly so as it seems this provider's staff will retaliate upon learning of an intention to explore other PCP providers.

I was recommended to Dr. Dela Torre by a good friend of mine. The office is super clean, staff were amazing, friendly and helpful, There’s a table if you want to work. Wait time is decent. I’m honestly blown away by Dr. Dela Torre’s attention to detail. She explained a lot about what I came for. She made me feel she truly cares about getting me better. She made me comfortable and she’s very knowledgeable at her job. If you want a doctor that cares and gives you the attention you need - please come see her. I can’t recommend her enough. Shes phenomenal! (Mind Blown)

This place was very easy to schedule and preregister online, the wait to see Dr De la Torres was not long. Dr De la Torre is very understanding and listens to my needs she is a good Dr that makes me feel comfortable and gives support and advice Thank you endlessly

They seem to just let you stay in one waiting room to the next. Still waiting after an hour! I finally walked out after an hour and 15 minutes! It sucked because I needed follow up care after my hospitalization. Do not go there unless you’ve got a few hours to spare and enjoy waiting.

Outstanding. Simply above and beyond what I expected. Dr. Esther clearly loves what she does, and I feel heard as a patient. Couldn't be happier! EDIT: I am editing this review, and am only sad that I can't add more than five stars. I was wrong; I could be happier, and am. In Dr. Torre I've found far better care and treatment than even the so-called "concierge doctor" I saw previously could muster. She's phenomenal. Dr. Torre is downright anachronistic, giving her patients the time and attention you'd expect from the bygone era of housecalls. And she's pretty dang cool, to boot.

Google hours show they are open and sat and sunday. Seems like they are closed on sat and sunday effective Aug. please double check before you go on weekends. Thanks. Esther De La Torre. Could you please update timings on google.

She is the most wonderful person I’ve ever met she’s very caring and understanding.

Only 3 symptoms per visit allowed. Came with more than 3 symptoms after an accident, she declared she felt overwhelmed, and got suddenly racist about my accent and foreign origin, stating that she doesn't like people from my birth country. I noticed it was time to get another PCM.

I have been to her office three times now and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. She is awesome and really down to earth. Her staff have always sent whatever I need to my pharmacy right away. At almost 30, I've never had a consistent primary doctor because I've never been happy with their level of treatment, but I finally found one!
