My son and husband are patients of Dr. Alberda. They can't say enough good things about him. The office is clean and follows Covid protocols very well, even offering tele-med when appropriate. Dr. Alberda has a wonderful presence and bed-side manner and really listens to them as opposed to rushing the appointment. Highly recommend!

Dr. Alberda is a wonderful addition to the family practice staff. This is my second visit seeing him and he is kind, thoughtful, he listens very intently and always seems to know what to say.

I have had problems with my legs starting last year and into this new year. I enjoyed great medical care from Dr. Alberda. I am up to six miles riding my bike and I would like to say, thank you.

I've had great experiences with both the staff and Dr. Alberda. They call in advance to remind you of your appointment as well as everything you may need to bring. They are quick to check you in and get your vitals. Once I met with Dr. Alberda, he listened to all my concerns, walked me through all the things I needed, and gave me great follow up plans.I got blood work done and he quickly called me in regards to concerns he had. When I came back in, he talked me through exactly why he was concerned.I've been in and out of medical offices for the last 5 years with all my health concerns and this one is by far the easiest one I've worked with in terms of scheduling, listening to my concerns, addressing my needs, and working with my insurance.

Dr. Alberta takes the time to listen to you. He asks questions to ensure he understands your medical complaint before he works on the diagnosis. He is a teaching doctor but the student's presence is never uncomfortable. I have recommended him to friends and family. His practice is how it should be: patient focused.

The lobby was really horrifying, felt like a very cold place to be..very clearly a clinic. I've only been to one other adult practitioner so I was nervous about going to see someone new since I am new to Austin. Once I met with Dr. Alberda, I found him to be pretty cold and judgmental while I was talking with him. I didn't feel like he was actually listening to everything that I said. Overall, I was disappointed with my visit and the quality of care that I would receive if I continued to seek care in that office.

I never actually saw Dr. Alberda. Only his residents ever saw me. And they diagnosed my cancer as allergies. Now that I'm cancer-free thanks to the work of talented surgeons, they refuse to give me the referral I need so my checkups with my surgeon will be covered by my insurance. Blackstock is terrible.

Good luck actually seeing Dr. Alberda. You will most likely see a resident instead. After his resident diagnosed my lung cancer as allergies, they refused to give me a referral to get my cancer checkups with the surgeon who removed my tumor. This place is a racket for people who can't afford better.
