List of Laura Baer Md's Reviews
Everyone is always very friendly at Treehouse! We LOVE Dr. Mooney but even more important to us, our kids LOVE Dr. Mooney, even our son who has autism and that is really HUGE for us! The kid friendly colors & pictures on the wall made him feel more comfortable and everyone there helps him feel at ease. We are so happy to have found Treehouse Pediatrics!
Because I work in the medical field, I'm very particular on choosing doctors/practices when it comes to my family. We just moved to town a month ago and Treehouse Pediatrics was our first doctor's visit in our new city. The whole family received their flu shots on a Saturday and then returned on Monday for my son's 4 year wellness check. Our appointment was with Erin Blauer, MSN,RN, FNP-C. She addressed ALL of my concerns and more! The staff was extremely helpful and kind. What a great group! I would recommend this practice for your children's needs and I'm looking forward to my next visit for my daughter.
We have been using TreeHouse for our kids for regular stuff - cough, cold , vaccines , etc. But it seems that there is somethings happening that is taking this place terribly downhill recently. During our daughters Covid test last time, the nurse was very rude to us - she took nasal swabs from our sick kid in a way that her nose started bleeding (!). While our kid complained, she did not slow down or apologize. Even after the event, she just shot out of the room to never appear again, without saying a word. Although she was aware that our daughters nose was bleeding, she did not examine her for a ruptured membrane or anything else but just ran out of room. We had to physically go and ask for someone to come help our daughters bleeding nose, and someone else was sent in to look at her. The nurse's body language and demeanor was clearly rude and unprofessional for a medic. We talked to the practice manager onsite, and complained that although many Covid tests taken have been taken on our kids so far, at no times would nose bleed during taking swabs. But there was no follow up from the practice on our complaint. We also provided feedback on their internal survey tool and asked for a follow up, but no one bothered to get back to us. We know when someone is being rude , and we saw the nurse being harsh and rude to our kid by her bo. Maybe subtle signs of racism, maybe she was having a bad day, who knows ?! But to treat a sick kid badly is something that is no medic would do, especially with the medical hypocritical oath. But what is appalling is that even after asking for a follow up on this incidence, the practice chose to ignore our complaint. We have been having our doubts about this place for some time now, and with this incidence we are accelerated to think that the practice is not focused on servicing the community. One cannot treat their patients rudely, cause harm, and just choose to go quite over it. Its a shame , really.
We took my son to Dr Unite for 3 years and my daughter for 6 months. He is literally the best doctor you will find out there. We had to move out of the city and wished we could have taken him with us! His knowledge, understanding and patience level is un matched. He really takes the time to talk to the parents and kids. We have been by other pediatricians and although they did the job they just don’t match what Unite offers.
Dr. Grady and the Treehouse Team are so fantastic. I am a new, first time Mom and I am so thankful I found Treehouse to take care of my growing little guy. We recently needed a quick appt and they were able to get us right in and are always so kind, thorough and compassionate. I feel comfortable asking any questions I have and confident in their care when we leave. Thank you Treehouse!
We have been at this clinic since my son’s newborn check up, and just recently did his 12month appointment. Dr Abiola Badipe is just amazing! Especially as a first time mom, she answered questions I didn’t even know I had and is always very reassuring. She has been accommodating and has also made really good modifications for us since our family is vegan. Our baby boy adores Dr B and is always a step ahead in making sure we are meeting our growth milestones. Highly recommend!
Highly disappointed! Unbelievable unprofessional attitude! Have been assigned to Dr. Shanon Mooney, but in fact, had never seen her. Every time we had a sick appointment we had been seen by a new to us nurse practitioner. The most disappointing part is they never scheduled or mentioned to set up an appointment for our 4-year old. We been there two weeks prior the time of our 4th health visit! Missing vaccines (4 in total) as a result! No one gave us a call! Very poor service. Unforgivable!
Disappointed isn't a strong enough word. As eager first time parents we were ecstatic to find Dr. Mooney 3 years ago. She was & still is a compassionate and informed doctor. However, the practice itself is horribly mismanaged, rude & runs through staff almost as fast as patients. Parents heed these warnings⚠️ •The practice manager informed me their doctors only see their patients for Wellness Checks. Anytime your child is sick they will most likely be seeing a NP. •Everything is a virus and only after your child has suffered for weeks they will try antibiotics. If that doesn't work then good luck! Our child had an illness that went undetected after several visits & took an ER visit for a diagnosis. •You can hardly get an appt. same day. You have to call right at 8AM & stay on the line as long as it takes for them to get to you. Our primary care basically became PM Pediatrics Urgent Care because of how overbooked this place is. •Last but not least....my very last visit with them was for a flu shot. When I clicked on the link of the text THEY sent me to check in, a screen popped up with an error message that my appointment had been canceled. I called the office & they stated since we requested records be sent to a new office they deactivated our account & canceled our flu shot appointment. The front desk manager did say, "your new office should be able to give her a flu shot, right?" Working with Electronic Medical Records and in Medical Practices myself, it is not common procedure to deactivate a patient until they have been inactive at your practice for a certain amount of time. Deactivating us immediately & deleting our Patient Portal access because we request records to be sent somewhere else is unacceptable. I feel this business is a revolving door and the only reason they are so busy is because of the growth in our community. They would never survive a small town with these operations in place. Unfortunately, they seem great until you are sleep deprived & desperate for your sick child to get medical attention only to be told to use motrin and tylenol every 4 hours and sent on your way. If you're new to this area, please know you have options & you deserve a caring, compassionate practice for your babies. As for my review I wasn't going to waste anymore time with this place but if I can save 1 parent the stress I've had to endure then it's worth it.
Dr. Badapie saw my son at the hospital and was so thorough we chose her as our pediatrician from there on out. It has been a great decision. From the start, she took the time to explain specifics and answer all my questions, with patience and understanding. During visits she listens to our concerns and helps brainstorm on causes and solutions. She always checks my son out thoroughly. Her effort makes me feel like our health is her priority. The nurses at Treehouse Pediatrics have also been terrific. Each one we’ve seen has treated our son with so much care. We have used the patient portal email option several times & the response time has been speedy. Highly recommend Dr. B & Treehouse Pediatrics in general!
Extremely difficult to make an appointment. They only allow “same day sick appointments” even if it’s not a sick visit, you can’t schedule an appointment ahead of time unless it’s the annual check up. Only way to get an appointment is to get on their website at 7:30am for that same day. You can’t plan. Only at the mercy of what might be available THAT day. EDIT: a week after this review, I try Treehouse again, and they will only offer me a Referral to Dermatology for a wart on my daughter’s foot..time to find a new peds clinic after all.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
