My 80 year old mother was having shoulder pain. Her pain was about a 5 on a 1-10 scale. She went to see Dr Bosquez who scheduled an MRI. He administered, without her consent or discussing with her, a contrast dye injection prior to the MRI. As soon as he started it was excruciatingly painful. My mom has a high pain tolerance. They then proceeded with the MRI. This was June 1. He sent her on her way with no pain pills, no sling even though he hurt her and she told him She was in worse pain. She has been at a 10 pain level since then and it's now June 8. After seeing another doctor for the follow up, he concluded that her extreme pain is from a botched contrast dye injection, not the torn rotator cuff and she now has capsular distention. This is causing severe inflammation which is pushing on her nerves causing extreme pain. We were at the ER with her last night because hydrocodone isn't helping. I called after hours one night to try to get something else and PA said there was nothing but Motrin she could add I called our wonderful Aspire nurses who prescribed gabapentin which helps a little since it's for nerve pain. I'm very upset that my mother is in such pain and I wish she had never gone to see this Dr. She's in way worse shape than before she saw him.

I've seen Dr Bosquez a few times with two patients (my less than careful kids). Smart, clear, patient, easy to talk to and effectively communicates with the little ones. Would recommend.
