I have had a Total knee replacement surgery with doctor Valastro in 2020, just at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, It's approaching 2 years and my knee's still hurt. I was not treated well by his staff after the surgery and it's very difficult to reach his nurse (for question after surgery), or his PA (for the needed medication), or even the office manager (poor service). I won't come back because it is not a successful surgery (still in very much pain) and I don't want to deal with his staff either.

Communication with the office is a string of voice messages passing around. Post op is a nightmare for that reason when people needed them the most. Good doctors but bad office business practice.

Dr. Valastro and his team are first-rate. I shattered my wrist. The office got me into surgery within the week to correct the damage and put in a metal plate. I was seen regularly until it was well-healed. They're all very busy but made sure all my questions were answered.

Valastro is a competent surgeon but his staff and office procedure are not geared to patient convenience!Indifference is the best word to describe surgery aftercare! They do not have the ability to fax prescriptions to your pharmacy!! Really,talk about backward nincompoops!Go find a surgeon that serves you after surgery!! Much less painful!

Dr. Valastro is an excellent surgeon. He went with me on the details of my injury and explained everything in details. He was able to figure out certain things on the fly while operating on my arm. The MRI did not show him all the details. I was very lucky to find him from my coworkers and sent more referrals to him. He has worked on shoulder, arm and knee for my coworkers. Everyone loces him. Highly recommended!!

Micro-fracture surgery. By far the worst surgery I've had. 6 months after surgery my knee "clicks and pops" probably 20 times a day. His nurse is virtually unreachable and the communication from his office is horrible if it exists at all.

Dr. Michael Valastro is an outstanding surgeon in Orthopedics in whole central Texas. I had knee replacement surgery and was able to walk next day. Very compassionate and extremely caring doctor that puts in 100% attention to his patient.It has been two weeks and recovering very well. I will strongly recommend prospective knee replacement patients to Dr. Valastro. Thank you Dr. Valastro for the care you have given so far.
