Talks too fast which creates more of a language barrier. Does not listen to concerns well. Disorganized and forgetful as a doctor and as an overall Endo clinic with many nurse staff tending to be just as disorganized and not able to communicate accurate or timely information. Can’t even accurately read lab results !! Don’t even get calls back quite often! Always late and rushed for our appt. poor quality patient care and they don’t care about my child. The overseeing admin staff is just as unconcerned and non-communicative. Sad example of a Children’s hospital

I was impressed with Dr. Prabhakatan at our first appointment. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Prabhakaran went down hill from there. I left our second appointment feeling very lost. She seemed to either have us confused with another patient or had changed diagnosis and treatment course since our last visit. It went down hill from there with many inconsistencies and miss information. Her nurse Amy added to the inconsistent info and was a not helpful. Choose a different doctor!

Dr. Prabhakaran goes above and beyond to help her patients in our experience. She is very empathetic and talks to my 11 year old son about his Type 1 diabetes without the least bit of condescension. The staff are also great. My whole family down to my 5 year old has no problem understanding her at all, she has a moderate Indian accent.

Hard to understand her as she speaks. Once tried to adjust all the settings on my child's insulin pump based on another child's print out. Had to argue that she was wrong.

Horrible experience i would never take my child to her , staff never keeps up with any information let alone the doctor . Overlooked information , i would be careful if your child has thyroid or Diabetes either or , they will end up getting both after a little while with them . I would do my research and educate yourself !!!! Stay away from doctors ....
