Sarat C Burri's Online Review Report Card

I went to visit this doctor for sever allergy and illness, he just gave me 2 to 5 mins hardly. I said him my back hurts..is it from allergy? He said I just check 1 issue at a time..choosing such a noble job and behaving like a broker DOES’NT MATCH…Because of your attitude I was not healed by the medicine given by you!

Worst experience with a professional ever. He was extremely condensing and acted as if he had no respect for the patient as an individual. His manner of looking down at the patient as if his medical license placed him above everyone else was absolutely unprofessional and condensing. Then instead of being a professional checking on the patient after doing a phone call giving a prescription he waited 3 weeks for the next appointment to speak to the patient and then in that appointment acted as if all the other doctors and professionals and prescriptions given to the patient during those 3 weeks (because he had to be seen at ER, because someone missed obvious medical clues to his condition), were inadequate, unnecessary, and not his recommendation. Then when the patient's partner expressed their frustration at his care, Burri (not Dr) got intimidated and rushed us off with printed material from on line google search in hand and sent us on our marry way. Then again hasn't checked in and then next appointment he cancelled in his chicken sh$% way of not dealing with a patient that didn't look up at him as a deity. what an absolute failure of a "doctor", professional, and person. Seriously, I could have looked up information online, I needed a professional's opinion and advice. going to school for 8 plus years doesn't make you better , able to memorize certain information doesn't either, being able to say, "hey Google....?" certainly doesn't make you betterWorst experience with a professional ever. Dr. Burri.. Awesome, the best mannered PCP I personally have ever had!! He is not in a rush, takes his time with the patient's which is awesome, as now seeing a doctor is not about true quality time it is more about quantity not for Dr. Burri...I will be with him for life!! Thank You Dr. Burri keep up your Awesomeness!!

Went for my physical with Dr. Burri. He was very professional and detail oriented. He also provided valuable feedback to improve my health.

This physician has a very poor "bed-side" manner. He treats patients poorly and always seems to have a "chip" on his shoulder. When he relocates, my observation would be that he undergo anger management courses and retraining in approaching patients. He does not take the time to listen nor explain the issues at hand and I found him to be very very poor in the role of a PCP!! If he is not retrained at his new location, his old habits will follow him and patient feedback will remain the same.

He is supposed to be my primary doctor, but I have only seen the man once for about a minute. I have spoken on the phone with him several times and he refers me somewhere else.He Is a joke, and I cannot believe Carilion keeps him. I am always given to his assistant Mathew,who does have a good bedside manner unlike Burri. I would not recommend Burri to anyone.

The last 3 visits to this person were a TOTAL loss. He has absolutely no "bedside manner" and is arrogant and disrespectful. Why Carilion continues to keep him in a practice is beyond me. He becomes angry and tells you "I don't treat this or I don't have the equipment here to treat such a condition -- Go to the ER". His only solution is to send you to a specialist. At best, he only listens to your heart and then lays you back on a table and listens to whatever, and that is the total exam!!

I have been a patient at this clinic for over 30 years. When Dr. Overstreet retired, I began seeing Dr. Burri. I have been extremely satisfied with his care. He is attentive to questions and concerns and addresses them all before leaving the room. I have never felt rushed or a burden by Dr. Burri.

Went in with two specific issues and Dr. Burri spent maybe 3-4 mins total with me. Threw two quick prescriptions at me and left. Wouldn't listen to me at all. Both of my issues have gotten worse since visit. I've been a patient at his office for 25 years but will never go back.

I questioned Dr. Burri's treatment options, and he sent me a letter saying I was kicked out of the clinic due to provider/patient incompatibility. I have been going to this clinic for 25 years. He is a sad replacement for Dr. Overstreet. I would recommend going somewhere else.
