Trusting Dr.B with my senior mother's healthcare has been the best decision. We drive over 1 hr to see her! Well worth the commute
If you are a patient here don’t bother!!! Waste of time. Got there at 9:35am for my 9:40 appt. They made me sit outside the office in the in between of the the front doors the office and Walgreens because because I had 2 Covid symptoms, which is fine I understand I was told someone would be out to give me a Covid test and almost an hour later they finally came out to see me and give me the test, exposing me to everyone walking in and out not to mention having me disclose phi in a non secure area which is a violation of my patient rights and I’m sure hippa too!!! Finally get brought back and still waiting 20 mins later for the doctor to see me. I walked out!! Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life with any health professionals!
She often give wrong reports (specifically COVID reports) She is rude with patients especially if you are of Indian decent or speaks one of her language
I went to Dr. Burugu in search of a primary care physician due to an issue with swollen ankles. She said there was nothing she could do and the issue was because of my weight. She failed to do her job as a doctor because when I went to a different doctor they gave me medicine and the issue went away. I am 23 years old and my weight is not the issue. If you want to be fat shamed and not helped definetly go here.
have been a client of Dr. Burugu for several years. She is thorough, listens, allows for questions. Office calls with test results even if negative- awesome! office staff seems to be stable at this point, and respond quickly if I call and need something sent to me.
I have been a patient of Dr. Burugu for several months. She is has one of the best practices in the area, and truly cares about your health and well being. Office staff is awesome, and they will take the time to tell you lab/imaging results! If needed she also takes the time to refer to some of the best specialists! I am glad to have Dr. Burugu as my Primary Care Physician for years to come!
I have been seeing Dr. Burugu for several months now. She is smart, concise, and is caring. Will call you with lab/imaging results, The office staff is excellent too, they are helpful and always answer. If you want someone who is caring, experienced, passionate, and caring choose Dr. Burugu!
smart. knowledgable and straight to the point. i love this doctor.
Best doctor(PCP) that I ever had!! So glad me and the wife found her!! We travel just to see her!!!
Seriously considering if I should continue with Dr or not. I had following problems 1. She calls up and to give lab results numbers tells them one time but when asked to repeat she says she will tell it over virtual appointment, she schedules(not patient) virtual appointment to explain the lab results but doesn't remember it. after 10 mins of scheduled time I had to call them and then she sends link for virtual meeting, I felt they might have forgotten to put appointment on their system.. Being late is okay but not having it on schedule is disappointing. 2. Not at all sure why she can't put ANY recommendation on paper, at-least something you should be able to put on paper!!! 3. Generally patients are given lab report first and then doctor explains it or at-least give report when patient is online with you!! But there you get report after doctor explains it. If appointment was about lab results why can't you share at that time and explain each out of range number!!! 4. Generally patients are given access to a portal where their history, report, past prescriptions etc are there but here it is not like that, even if it is there I don't know how to access it..communication? 5. Gave lab order but didn't explain that you can't even have water before going for a particular lab test which resulted in two visits to lab. 6. Keeping everything oral doesn't help, please please allow patients to have some record! Even first visit was not pleasant, this is second time. Instead of being at ease after talking to doctor I was more agitated! Hope this improves!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
