List of Susan B. Nunez's Reviews
Did not trust her. Rude and condescending.
Bad experience. She had a very rude and egoistic demeanor. She didn’t explain the condition well and kind of destroy a child’s hope. Not recommended her at all.
Very knowledgable and helpful
I really like Dr. Nunez, she was very helpful with my grandson condition and told us all the options for his treatment. I can't understand why she is getting such bad reviews. I thank God for her because you can be in such denial when it comes to your children. Dr. keep up the good work and keep that smile on your face why you are being professional @ what you do.
I would not recommend this doctor. On more than one occasion she contradicted herself from one sentence to the next, saying completely opposite things about my daughter's condition. Very unclear and did not make sense. Her affect and facial expression did not seem to match up which made me concerned about her cognitive functioning. This would be a serious concern for any potential patient.
30 years ago at CHKD Norfolk VA, she took care of my Daughter who had Sturge Weber Syndrome, she was compassionate and caring, we've never had another Dr. who showed as much passion. God Bless you Doc, "The Tatum Family."
I am one of her patients and I went in today she had a bad attitude towards me and barely told us any information going on with me or explaining to me what I am supposed to take and why. She did not even ask me if I had any questions or if there are any issues going on with me. It felt like she just went in and did not even do anything. It was like only ten minutes in the room with her. But all I got were major bad vibes with her. I don’t feel like I trust her at all as my doctor. I thought it was just me until I read the comments on this page, but I don’t think she should be a doctor if she is going to have a negative attitude and negative vibes. I need a doctor with positive vibes and actually cares about my health and actually helps me. Definitely do not recommend her.
Extremely rude doctor. She scolded me because of my daughter's weight and even looked at me for a solid minute like you are in trouble...I cannot find the words to describe what happened, but after she did it about 4 times, I finally put her in her place. It was then, that her face turned red, she had a huge grin and apologized. I will not be going back to this doctor.
Dr. Nunez is extremely arrogant, disrespectful and condescending. She rolled her eyes at me, let out a deep sigh, tensed up her shoulders, shook her head at me with cold disdain. I did nothing to deserve this treatment from her. In fact, I was still reeling in shock over my child's brand new life threatening diagnosis. And this is how she treated me. Very hateful.
bad, bad, bad - I told Dr. Nunez three years ago my daughter was gaining unhealthy weight and asked for metabolic tests. Then two years ago, then one year ago and all the time she said there are no tests. Finally my daughter's insulin tested high, which by the way after seven years this is the first time Nunez tested insulin, and it was alarmingly high, no wonder my daughter has been gaining weight. Then she said I need to see a metabolic genetics dr. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
