Timothy Mcgee's Online Review Report Card

One star because the front office staff were very nice and genuine. March of 2020 I went in for a consult and made a deposit that would be used towards a surgical procedure. Then covid happened. Unfortunately my deposit expired in this time. When I called the office last week to finally reschedule my exact words on the phone were "I put down a deposit just prior to the pandemic and now I'm ready to reschedule." I showed up after 1.5 years still wanting to give Westlake Cosmetic Surgery and Dr. McGee my business. I really thought that would count for something, but he refused to honor my deposit. Not only that, but I was on the schedule for a more invasive procedure over double the price. If my words on the phone were actually heard and records revisited it could have saved everyone this horribly awkward encounter. It's unprecedented times and everyone is doing the best they can, but aside from your business, your patients are doing their best as well. I left feeling like just a number, defeated, and my time and money invested was just simply pocket change.

Had a small cyst under my left ear lobe and was referred to Dr. Timothy McGee to have it removed. Went in for consultation and one week later had minor surgery to remove it there in his office. It was painless and he and his PA were very professional. Good overall experience.

Dr. McGhee is thorough, patient and responsive with questions, and kind and detailed in his responses. He wants his patients to be happy with any and all results. Also, he has the best staff around! I love the nurses and office staff. They are extremely punctual, enjoyable, and knowledgeable as well. I don’t often do reviews, but this team deserves all the shoutouts!

McGee almost killed me by injecting me multiple times with a substance that I clearly told him and his two assistants I was highly reactive to, before any procedure was done. McGee managed to turn the removal of a simple benign cyst into late evening emergency surgery because a blood vessel in my neck burst due to that reaction. Besides almost killing me by failing to heed my words he belligerently argued with me that I couldn’t possibly be reactive to the substance I warned him about. This is like telling someone highly allergic to peanuts that they couldn’t possibly have that allergy. Now I am disfigured and scarred for life. Oh and he and his assistant lied in their medical reports in attempt to cover themselves from legal action. I’m not alone in my opinion, read McGee's Yelp reviews. I'm sure there are much better cosmetic surgeons in Austin who are decent human beings who actually respect, care about, and listen to their patients. McGee isn't one of those.Dr. Dean Raffelock

I had surgery with Dr McGee several months ago and whole process and results were great. From the initial consultation to the follow up appointments (which is still going on). He and his nurses are absolutely wonderful - even post surgery when I had concerns outside of business hours, they addressed my questions quickly. I highly recommend Westlake Dermatology!

I came to his office for a breast augmentation. The consultation was very informative. Dr. McGee listened my concerns and suggested size 385 silicone under muscle, but I was hesitant since didn't want to go crazy big. I am so glad I took his advice since the final result turned out amazing! Dr. McGee has a vision and good eye on a final result, so trust his advice. My husband can't get enough of my new boobs and every time we thank Dr McGee for everything he did. The recovery was long and with hematoma complication on one side, but it's one of the possible complications which I was aware of. Highly recommend Dr. McGee.

Dr. McGee and his team are awesome! Super accommodating and friendly. I had a breast reduction and he did a great job explaining it all, I felt at ease with him and couldn't be happier with the results!

Ann A.  Dr McGee is a great breast augmentation doctor.  He help me with replacing my ruptured implants that happened in a car accident. He told me what to expect before and after the replacements.  I am very pleased with end result.
