Catherine Casteel's Online Review Report Card

I truly don't understand these negative reviews. I honestly can say she is a great doctor. No nonsense, honest and if you do, what she tells you to do you will see results. I recently had Lapiplasty on my left foot. I had it done on a Friday and on Monday, I realized that I had no pain at all. The staff is always nice and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Casteel.

I saw doctor Casteel for a matter that required surgery on my foot. I was explained at the time we met what the procedures were to be expected. On the fourth visit, her office manager told me that I owed 4 trips worth of copays, so I reluctantly paid, to continue my treatment. A copy of days later, I received a letter from her practice, alleging that I was not adhering to her instructions and would no longer be treated by her practice. A couple of weeks later, I was back in the hospital with an infection, that required another surgery. The second podiatrist was phenomenal. This trip required one surgery and a month of follow ups before I was on my way. Would definitely vote Clinton for president before going back to see Dr. Casteel again.

I broke my foot last Friday night. I went to an ER, where X-rays confirmed that it was broken and was told to go to an orthopedist as soon as I possible. I thought a podiatrist might be even better so, since I had been to see Dr. Casteel a couple of times in the past for routine foot issues, I called her office first thing Monday morning, leaving a message that I had broken my foot, etc. Her website says that their office is open, and their telephone recording did not say anything to the contrary. After calling two more times I gave up and contacted an orthopedist, who saw me that afternoon. On Wednesday, TWO DAYS after I left the message on Monday, her office finally returned my call. Apparently her office does not consider a broken foot to be anything to be concerned about.

Dr. Casteel knee just what was causing the pain in my foot and did injections to help the pain. I would recommend her to everyone.

I had my first appointment with Dr Casteel today. She was so good - knowledgeable and communicative. She took X-rays and went over each part with me. I feel less afraid and have a plan now.

Dr. Casteel is great! Very thorough and wonderful bedside manner. Although I had multiple issues, she didn't push treatment of problems that weren't bothering me and she made a painful procedure I did need to have done as pleasant as possible. Her office staff was professional and efficient but not particularly friendly. I had done my homework through my insurance provider ahead of time and since she was on the list of covered providers, my out of pocket cost was minimal, even surprisingly low. I would recommend her to anyone needing a foot doctor.

Doctor and assistant both need to have training in how to talk to and treat people. Very rude and condescending..

She is a bully and very unprofessional, if you don't do it her way then there is a problem. I do not recommend her at all.

Dr Casteel diagnosed and healed my plantars fasciitis with innovative and conservative treatments. I feel so much better and am back to running. I truly appreciate her forward thinking and ability to get me back to the activity I enjoy the most!
