List of Emir Campanini's Reviews
Shocked to see negative reviews..He has been my daughter's pediatrician since birth and she will be a year in a month! Every time I've gone desk attendants, nursing staff, and campanini have been GREAT.Nursing staff always so friendly, gentle, and caring! Same for Campanini, very friendly, patient and informative. Aside from monthly visits I've gone once for a rough cough my daughter had and he said it was nothing too serious but would prescribe medicine for her allergies in which was causing the cough. Said to take it for a week, keep her nose clear as much as possible, use a humidifier, that the cough would go away with some time but to go back if symptoms got worse. She was getting better by the 3rd day.All around I've had great experiences and I hope people take this into consideration.
Such a great Dr.
Great doctor, very respectful, and very kind. Always with the right diagnosis. I have to drive an hour to take my kids with him, believe me, it is always worth it.
Absolutely the best pediatrician I have ever had.
Disrespectful to caring parents, does not catch or correctly diagnose common illnesses like strep or ear nose and throat afflictions, does not read chart before seeing patient, does not routinely look at patient before offering a diagnosis, does not recognize symptomes when viewing patient, has less knowledge and understanding than a nurse practitioner and slightly more knowledge and understanding than a nurse. Not a caring person, superiority complex prevents active listening and learning. Relies on something like web md during offive visit to facilitate diagnosis.
Horrible, Horrible!!! I would never recommend Dr. Campanini to anyone!!!!!I will never take my child to see Dr. Campanini again. My son was with a doctor at Shannon Medical which we loved and never had any issues with. Then my insurance changed and I had to switch doctors. I was told lots of good things about Campanini, so I decided to go with him. Big mistake! My child was seen by the E.R. which we had no problem with everything went great! Once my son was diagnosed with an ear infection and was told to follow-up with his PCP (which was now Campanini.) I got him an appointment two days later with Campanini, everything was fine in the beginning (except for the children whose parents let them run wild in the waiting room with a hour and a half wait.) My son did fine with the nurse taking his temp (in the ear), weight, all the vitals, and put us in a room. Then Campanini came in and my child lost it (never met the man before this) screaming, crying, terrified of Campanini. Campanini looked into my son's ears and said "oh there is no ear infection at all, but keep taking the medicine the E.R. gave you, until it is finished." (Weird if there wasn't an infection.)I thought okay maybe my child just didn't feel good and that why he acted this way, right?Wrong, one week later I had to take my child back in for a blister that suddenly came about on the out area of his ear ( same one that there was nothing wrong with.) So once again we go back to Campanini's office. Everything was fine in the waiting room, until we went back. My son flipped out (I've never had him act this way at the doctor's before,) wouldn't let the nurse touch him for his weight or temp, my son was literally scared of her. Finally, while I was physically restraining my 2 year old child, she was able to get his vitals. Then she put us in a room, my son did everything he could to get out of this room. I physically had to block the door so he wouldn't run out of it. As soon as Campanini walked in the door my child turned pale white and started to tremble in fear of him. Then Campanini asked "oh, what's the child's name? Are you kidding me? Campanini didn't even read his chart to see what my son's name was. While my mother and myself restrained my 2 year old child so Campanini could look at the outside of his ear. During this time Campanini busted open the blister which started to bleed. Campanini said (Oh, look it's bleeding.) Campanini then goes on to tell me that, "well it's nothing really, but here let me give you a cream to put on the ear. Oh and we will put your son on another antibiotic to get this cleared up."But I thought Campanini said "oh it's nothing, " then why was he giving my child more medicine? After a week of meds, my child was not getting any better. So I decided to take him to the Walk-In Medi center, once again my child did great. Until we got into a room and a women doctor came in. My son was fine until she went to look into his ear's (which Campanini said there was nothing wrong with.) Now taking my husband and myself, plus a nurse to hold my son down, just so the doctor could see what was going on with him.Eventually he was diagnosed with not ONE but TWO inner ear infections that Campanini missed.BECAUSE OF CAMPANINI NOT ONLY IS MY CHILD AFRAID OF DOCTORS, HE WON'T LET ANYONE, INCLUDING MYSELF TOUCH HIS EARS.Now I've have switched doctors to a new PCP and my son's first appointment won't be for a couple more months. So I am hoping by then my child will be able to be seen again without any problems.Moral of this story: DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CHILD TO SEE CAMPANINI!!!!
I would give 0 stars if possible.
Dr. Campanini is great! He has been seeing my son since day one. The only problem are the ladies at the front desk! When I call, they cut me off mid sentence and hang up! I get that they get busy but friendliness and courtesy make for a great experience.
Absolutely love his methods and his interaction with our son. Very professional and very good listener. Has an accent but is very clear with his words. If you cannot understand then he is very good about repeating himself slower. Does not jump to conclusion but does not do the wait it out method if your child is sick. Same day appointments and on call physician available on the weekends. He also attended my son's birth per our request. Nurses are very helpful, responsive and caring.
Dr acted as if we had already made up our minds as to what was wrong. He didnt care to listen or hear what we had to say. Then told use that the baby had the rhino virus like we didnt know what a cold was. This Dr could have shown a lot more compassion and understanding to parents that were simply concerned with there child have a fever over 103. The office staff on the other had was outstanding as all ways, but if you have a choice pick a different Dr then campanini.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
