Dr Jackson is the best for pediatric eye issues. I brought my daughter for clogged tear ducts and he treated in office. I also brought her when she needed corrective patching. He's just the best.

Love him and his quirky office. My kids enjoy their visits and their strabismus surgery went very well. His receptionist is a little curt, but she gets the job done.

My daughter did a tear duct probing with Dr Jackson 3 years ago. The surgery was a great success. No more issues anymore . It was amazing that only topical anesthesia was used, because we do have concerns about general anesthesia used by other providers.

Best Doctor still practicing. He was referred to me from my last Dr in San Antonio Texas was retiring from his practice. I had gone to Dr Mims is San Antonio for 35 Years and had surgery when I was 3. Dr OB Jackson is the best. Thanks Dr Mims from referring me to him.

Friendly staff and professional doctor who has tons of experience and obviously knows what he's doing. We will happily bring our children back here.

Dr. Jackson was a delight to meet but also very capable with my son’s procedure. He had quite a few tricks and whistles to keep a little one engaged and cooperative. I am thankful for this practice and Dr.Jackson’s years of experience.

Very child friendly.

We've had two kids that needed surgery for strabismus. Though it's incredibly unusual to have two children with a similar issue, that was the case. For reference, we have four children, total. Dr. Jackson is kind, thoughtful, and ultimately what counts, is a gifted surgeon. Both our kids did very well, post-surgery, and it is pretty much impossible for anyone observing them to know that they ever had any issues. Self-esteem-wise, it has been a game changer for both of them. As the surgeries were done years ago, I know for a fact they were a long-term success, and have helped set them up for success in life. One just finished undergrad in two years and is starting her PhD on a full fellowship, the other just graduated from high school. Is Dr. Jackson responsible for that? Well, let's say that without good vision and the self-esteem that comes from not being "different," right where it counts (in looking at someone's eyes when talking), those kids would be in a different category. So, partly, yes, he is responsible. His genius, plus a lot of school work from the kids and support from the whole family, all helped get them to where they are now.The negative reviews? If you bother to read them, they are quite ridiculous, left by reviewers that clearly had no actual experience with the doctor and his surgical skills. It's unfortunate each review can't be weighted by the amount of real-world experience with the service or doctor, in which case these negative reviews should be given no weight at all. A one star because calls went through to voicemail? How do you know that there wasn't an emergency going on, Savira, and they couldn't answer? You didn't even meet anyone or have a real experience. Zero weight.By contrast, our review comes from the great experience with the front desk staff, totally thorough and unstressful examinations, the actual surgery experience, careful follow-up, and REAL results.
