We love Dr. Sage and her office! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. They truly prioritize a holistic health approach to the airway and approaching each family and their goals.
wow wow and wow! My daughter had her lip/tongue tie released today and our experience could NOT have been better. Dr.Sage and every member of her staff was so kind and informative. Everything was explained so clearly and we feel confident that our baby girl is going to have the best recovery/results thanks the caring team and amount of support/resources provided during and after the procedure.
It’s always a joy to bring my two kids to this practice! We were introduced to this office when my first child had a tongue and lip tie when he was born that Dr. Sage had released. Now we are done doing the same thing to my 2nd child. We love this team here!
We had a very positive experience with Alamo Heights Pediatric Dentistry. The team took great care of my 8-month-old baby during his tongue-tie release procedure. As a parent, it’s always nerve-racking when your baby needs any kind of surgery, but the staff was patient, gentle, and reassuring throughout the whole process. They explained the procedure clearly, answered my questions, and made sure my baby was comfortable before and after the treatment. The environment was clean, welcoming, and very child-friendly, which helped ease my nerves. I truly appreciated how attentive and compassionate everyone was with such a young patient. I’m grateful for the care they provided and would recommend them to other parents looking for a pediatric dental team that treats babies with kindness and professionalism.
In awe of the care, kindness, and professionalism of the staff here. I grew up with really negative dental experiences and specifically sought this clinic to avoid my son going through something similar. It is crystal clear that the team here prioritizes making dental work as comfortable as possible for kids, and even FUN, per my seven year old. The staff is incredibly accommodating and empathetic. Every person we interacted with felt like they were passionate about ensuring a positive experience. I sincerely appreciate the sense of urgency they had for scheduling my son’s follow up procedures. Only one visit in here and already truly blown away. Thank you so much to the staff for their incredible work.
I really appreciate the level of professionalism and customer service here. Dr. Sage is excellent and a wealth of information on frenum ties and releases. She speaks from experience also. From my perspective, it felt like a passion project for her. My newborn had a tongue and lip tie that affected his ability to drink from even a bottle, of which we tried several varieties along with different nipples and flows, and he still struggled with SS Pigeon nipples. She evaluated him on a day they squeezed him into their busy schedule and even offered to do the procedure same day if I felt comfortable moving forward, which I gratefully accepted. She educated me that the reflex for breastfeeding disappears around three months of age, and he was right on the cusp of that. She said he may even need cheek tie releases, but she would check after the lip tie was released since that may loosen them enough, and she let me know it was unnecessary to do the cheek releases after all. Not only can he drink from a bottle more effectively, but also he can breastfeed and from both sides. He never pulled even 2 ounces from me in a single session before this procedure and recovery process. He always had dribbles coming out the side of his mouth every bottle the entire time he was eating. It's worth it to at least get the evaluation done! The otolaryngologist I got in to see told me "rear tongue ties aren't a thing." Her reasoning? "A lack of research." Well, I think his exceptional progress post-procedure proves otherwise.
I recently took my 2 month old to see Dr. Sage for lip/tongue tie revisions. Dr.Sage came highly recommended to me and I can see why. From the moment I walked through the door her staff made sure I was taken care of. I loved how informative they were pre operation and all the way through to the follow up appointments. I felt comfortable and confident in my appointments and all of my questions were answered. Dr. Sage was super knowledgeable and sweet. Now I can’t recommend her enough to others! Signed a very happy mom who has a whole different breastfeeding experience!
My kiddo absolutely loves it here, so much so, it was a crying situation on the way out. She wanted her teeth cleaned again. (She’s 2) and she also wanted to go back to play. They really do a great job at making it kid friendly and welcoming. Possibly a tad too much 🙊 but not complaining, we love it here. And staff is amazing.
Dr. Walker and the entire team here go above and beyond. Little details and small acts of kindness are what they’re all about. From our first visit with a personalized welcome sign to most recently allowing me to send pics of my toddlers teeth from a fall. Everyone is friendly and so patient especially with a nervous toddler. They do a great job making everyone feel comfortable.
We’ve been going to see Dr Sage and Dr Walker for about 2 years now and my children and I only have great things to say. Both Drs are very informative and all the ladies are so helpful, patient and sweet!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
