Austin Acosta's Online Review Report Card

Updated review:While the service was great, I have come back to update my review as my experience with Acosta Chiropractic did not end well. Once my settlement was completed, my attorney negotiated my medical bills with all of the medical professionals I visited during the process of my injury. Every medical professional agreed to their payout, aside Doctor Dave. Dr. Acosta also demanded to see proof of the settlement from my attorney due to him not believing the settlement amount all while asking for more than what was being worked out with the negotiation for payout. Dr. Dave would not budge until I had to personally call him. What made me even more upset was that fact that I paid over $700 out of pocket using care credit to cover my wellness fees. Dr. Acosta said to me multiple times during the injury process "you can use your settlement money to cover your after care costs" (meaning my treatment with him after the settlement) I was more than happy to do so until I found out I would receive not even enough to cover the out of pocket cost (debt) I accumulated for my wellness care that Dr. Acosta recommended for me to do. When I explained my situation to Dr. Acosta he stated that "he has a business to run and employees to pay". An absolute slap in the face. Dr. Acosta then reduced his cost by a small percentage. Other doctors, as well as my attorney had their right to pay outs as well, so I was essentially left with just about enough to cover the cost of my debt and very little to seek treatment elsewhere. While my pain was for the most part gone, chiropractic care is something that needs to be maintained, and I am unfortunately am at a loss of money to cover my medical costs in the future regarding my back and neck pain from my accident. I have used to same attorneys in the past for a previous collision I was in years back, and I did not experience this backlash from any medical professionals. At the end of it all I felt like I brought business to Dr. Dave as he walked away with a good hunk of the settlement money, as well as the $700+ I spent out of pocket. All in all this is a learning lesson to be more aware and to do-more research when seeking care in regard to accidents. I essentially feel like I was a paycheck to Dr. Acosta and much less a valued patient at the end of this process as I feel taken advantage of. Very unfortunate situation especially being that I'm a young 25 year old woman who has bills to pay, school, and work to manage. I was hoping to using my settlement money to continue treatment as my pain has come back since stopping treatment. A good hunk of my settlement money would have been used for treatment, and it is unfortunate Dr. Dave did not see it that way.I believe I had about 30 visits, and Dr. Acosta charged over $6,000+ in bills for said visit with about 2-3 x rays in between. I had no special adjustments, just basic adjustments. After doing the math I was charged about 200 give or take for each visit which is a complete scam. Very disappointed and will not be using his services again. On the plus side, the ladies in the office were lovely and very kind!

Dr. Acosta provides a peaceful and therapeutic energy to the practice. I go in feeling exhausted and drained then come out feeling energized and strong. I love going to my appointments for my routine alignment and casual conversation. Strongly recommend going here. Especially for first timers!

Really takes the time to listen to you about your symptoms and concerns, goes the extra mile to help in difficult to navigate preexisting conditions, and really does care about his patients. I’m never rushed, I’m well taken care of, AND he’s literally the only one who’s ever been able to pop my lower back. Love this doctor

I had got into a car accident back in feb and ever since I have been going to Dr Acosta and I can say this team is very supportive and care for my health mentally and physically ..I really like that Dr really takes his time to figure out a good plan for your recovery ..I would definitely recommend if you are in the Riverside area !

Dr. Dave is an incredible person! He is so kind to all of his clients and you can tell he truly has a connection with all of them. He cares about his clients and treats them all with dignity and respect. I am a 21yr old college student and I absolutely love coming to Dr. Acosta because I sit too many hours for school and work. I feel SO much better from getting adjusted. Also, not only does Dr. Dave adjust, but he teachers. He has these incredible classes that he calls "Vital Classes" and I took my pre-nursing boyfriend to one and we both left feeling so good about ourselves and so much more knowledgeable about our bodies! He even fed us pizza!! If you haven't gone to a vital class yet, YOU NEED TO! Anyways, if you get the chance, come to Dr. Dave's office you will NOT regret it!

I first went to Dr Dave several years ago with an acute issue.  Since then I have become a regular wellness visit patient and have benefited greatly. Dr Dave and his team have a warm, calm, caring spirit. He Is interested in the various aspects of wellness. He never pushes any products, rather he encourages healthy lifestyle choices.I highly recommend his practice!

Chiropractor care here with Dr. Acosta is life changing. I walked in with thinking I'm okay and healthy with no issue just minor back pains. That wasn't the case, Dr.Acosta has taught me and educated me of what was the issue and it resulted to me i had couple of subluxations and more irregular issues. With his care, you are to be well taken care of. As a result, it  honestly helped me with my clarity and get me back to feeling how i felt as when I were in high school. I'm able to do gymnastics and hold my handstand straddle again. As a college student you deal with a lot of stress and never notice by how much we hunch over or how much we are always sitting, it actually harms us and makes us turn into hunch backed human beings. At the end of the day, I know when i first walk into his office-I'll be greeted every morning by the front desks and Dr. Acosta himself. I always had back pain due to working long hours. My back became a nuisance to deal with day to day. My girlfriend found Dr. Acosta online and set me up a consultation. Now Im able to correct my issues with my back. One of the best choices made for my health.

Dr. David and his staff are amazing!! When you're at that table he gives you his undivided attention. His staff is so friendly and amazing. It's just been a month since I've been going and my issues have decreased 50%. It's worth every penny honestly. He's the real deal!

Dr. Dave completely changed my life. I've been in 3 car accidents in the last two years and was desperate for help. When I was recommended to Acosta Chiropractic and Wellness I was immediately drawn to the relaxing and overwhelmingly friendly environment. Over the past three months my back pain has drastically decreased and I feel like a new person. Not only did his care alleviate my physical pain but improved my mental state.
