I don’t know how the care is but you’ll be in the waiting room for over two hours
My experience was great! The dr was kind and thorough and the nurses were great. Front desk friendly. :) I've always gone there when I've been feeling like I need to be seen ASAP.
I was denied medical treatment because I cannot wear a mask for medical reasons. The doctors on staff failed to live up to their hippocratic oath.If you need serious help do not visit this emergency room.
I was checking in the nurse was in the middle of checking Me in and answer med the phone and couldn’t get her stuff together and told me to sit down asked me if I new if it was a confirmed UTII’ve had a ton of them but I’m no DrPretty sure it’s one though after 99 of them
Slowest ER Ever.
Very bad service. I came here because my daughter have ear pain and expecting that doctor can see her quickly and help her for pain relief but it's been more than three hours waiting and no one have came for help yet. I am very much upset and it does not seem like it's an emergency hospital.
Please don’t go here for anything! The medical professionals (what they should be) are horrible. I wasn’t told anything doing treatment, given meds without consulting with me (please pray if you have blood work done because they put meds in this way) and they are unprofessional (RUDE)!!!! They literally tell you they are going to charge you a large amount for you visit and ask you to pay before you leave or filing insurance. If you ask questions they say you are being unreasonable and will call law enforcement on you!!! (Thank God law enforcement has sense because we know this could have went another way if not!!) I was sent home with unknown medicine in my blood, no one went over diagnosis, no prescription and told my bill will be 12,000 dollars!!! I did file a complaint but they don’t contact you about this so basically nothing happens. You wait weeks for a bill for 12,000 as they said but it comes for almost 23,000!!! This hospital is ridiculous!!!! Please find some where else to go AVOID!!!!!
This use to be such a great place to go for minor emergencies. I felt so comfortable bringing my daughter here cause their wait time was always a minimal of 20-30 mins. Their staff was always very attentive and precise. My daughter has intellectual disabilities and struggles with communication some times. But they never made her or I feel like we weren't a priority, no matter the reason for our visit. Today we waited nearly 2 hours and never got called back. This place is obviously under staffed and under new management or something that is lacking the previous perfections of quicker time in and time out of taking in patients as well as care. We saw several people in excruciating pain crying in the lobby and their family members told there were no time frames and no available beds. That is obviously staffing being very limited and not getting people out in a timely manner because of that. So sad watching people have to leave in pain. Including us. 5 mins, away another ER took us in within 5 minutes. I would not recommend Baptist ER in Schertz if your in pain.
My friend was taken to the er because she fell and harmed her foot. Durning her fall she hit her head on a rock. When she was seen they did take X-ray of her foot and head. After the doctor reviewd the results they said she was fine and had no broken bones and she went home. She has a cousin that is a Poditerest and when she saw him her foot was really bad as a baseball on the top. He did the xrays and she did have five broken bones from that fall. Her head had a gash with blood still in her hair from the fall. She had a concussion. She knew after leaving the er she was bad off, had no shoe to wear home and her care taker demanded giving her a support boot. They still claimed she didn't need help. And they were turned into the bad care and wrongly diagnosis.
I took my wife to this ER for severe side pain 2 months ago where she stayed in the ER for 3.5 hours. She only had a couple of weeks before her insurance from her job kicked in so she wasn't insured at the time. We received the bill yesterday for $27,000!!!! The only services they performed was a CT scan, an IV painkiller injection, a room for 3.5 hours, and wrote prescription to pick up at a local pharmacy. The CT scan Imaging alone cost $17,000.This place's pricing is absolutely outrageous, If you need any kind of emergency help GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.They also claim "Pricing Transparency" on their website but when you download their file, it's a JSON file which is not a file type any other than a developer would ever look at and it's really only used for databases. It's obvious they don't even pay their developer enough since they can't even get a functional google reCAPTCHA.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
