This place is horrible. They repeatedly fail to show up for scheduled appointments without notifying patients. This lack of reliability is unacceptable and has caused significant frustration. I will be filing a complaint with the appropriate medical board so this issue can be investigated. I would not recommend this provider based on my experience.
Horrible horrible service..... Doctor ordered wound care on surgical wound every day. Was told by visiting nurse, they don't work weekends. She came 2 or 3 times out of the week. Then she came kinda when she felt like it, wouldn't answer or return calls/texts. Notified office, no change or communication! Will absolutely NEVER recommend this agency.
They advertise they are available 24/7 yet they never answer the phone and they are 48 behind from the time set for them to take over care for my mother who was discharged from the hospital Wednesday(Saturday and they still have not provided the first visit
Very disappointed in the poor service of Brightstar. The nurse who arrived to do the PT assessment for our nephew was OK, but the nurse who was sent to assess a heal wound on our nephew was a disaster. She got lost and insisted the home address we gave her didn’t exist. She ended up calling him (the patient) saying she couldn’t find his house and asked him to drive to where she was and lead her back to his house. She then called us saying the scab on his heal needed to be surgically removed and his high blood sugar level needed to be treated. She said she could admit him to a hospital. When we tried to talk with our nephew, she kept interrupting us.
Worked here for a few months in 2018. Had a patient who didn't have supplies. When I asked office staff for estimated time of delivery from either the DME, agency or hospital I would get a "We're not sure" or "I don't know." Never could get a straight answer and was told I was "complaining" when advocating for a patient in order to specify a timetable for those supplies. The person who said I was complaining was the DON Mary. They'll throw a warm body wherever they can and even the other post mention something similar. Simultaneously these families have unrealistic expectations and is a reason so many nurses come and go in this field. Horrible companies. Ridiculous family demands. Not worth it.
I have been with Bright Star for a bit ,broke my femur and humerus! Thanks to my Pt and Ot I've been making hugh recovery .They are on time ,give you an advanced notice to when they are coming ,and always in good spirits. Thank you again Precious and Anna!!!!
First they call themselfs Healthcare more like favoritism ' they are afraid of a challenge they get scared away ' they dont call u back when they say they will ' they pull strings to not welcome u back wow I am so saddened this company has these employees ' dont get me wrong some are good but the higher of them dont care ' Star ' other one the one that answers the phone intake or scheduler ' to someone in management a man ' I strived to give them a chance again but thinking about it better off without them they dont inspire recovery well so good luck to those on board never complain for they will turn on you !!!!!
As a employee I was very disappointed in the co workers attitude and being self centered in the way this were handled not to mention not taking accountability for their mistakes and what all was said as an employee I did what was expected however considering the branch manager and Titian whatever she is was very disrespectful and Stephanie was very disrespectful bartow minded and very rude not to mention after quiting due to the fact that I wasn't going to be disrespected by Sumone who was younger then me two was wrong of the incedient that happened took place was I no longer going to work for people such as Stephanie and Titian . Last but not less I still haven't gotten paid for the day that I was cheated out on and wanting to get paid for the week before that I still haven't gotten paid for my six days that I worked days especially on my days off that I took upon myself to do still after quitting I still haven't received my check through direct deposit that left me having to pay fees for being late on my bills etc . I have nothing good to say on then not company considering the only the good thing that came of this was my patient. Everyone else was a mistake
Roberto OT an awesome guy I met it was an honor. I learned a lot from him. He is an awesome man 10 thumbs up for him. Thank you so much bright star Care
So far my experience with bright star has not been good at all. I have a wound vac on my foot dressing around my foot needs to get changed 3 times a week they came on Wednesday to do the initial intake and they were supposed to come on Friday nobody showed up I called and they told my they where trying to find a nurse to come but they where all busy so they put me on schedule for Saturday and the nurse would call me to let me know at what time she would be coming Saturday it’s already 10 and I still have not received a call letting me know at what time she would be here Saturday. So I call the number for the on call nurse but the voice mail is full. So I can’t leave a message for them to call me back. This is the last time I go with this home health services

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
