List of Brooks Pediatric Dentistry And Orthodontics's Reviews
Every time I would take my daughter for her cleaning and exam the dentist (Dr Muniz) would say she had cavities and needed fillings or crowns. Finally went to a different pediatric dentist and guess what.. my daughter had ZERO cavities. Like other reviews mentioned, the dentist always seemed to rush the exam and wouldn’t even explain where the cavities were or give any other info.
Love this place. Always so comforting to my child. Great environment.
was told by some money‑hungry people that my 6‑year‑old son supposedly had three cavities and even needed a crown, and he doesn't even eat candy. I decided to take him back to his former dentist, even though she's far from where we moved, because I trust the quality of her care. She examined him and confirmed he had no cavities at all. What a shock. I will never return to Dr. Muniz, the experience was terrible.
My issue is regarding the repeated cancellation of my appointments. This is the third time my appointment has been canceled due to the doctor taking time off when school is closed. While I fully support physicians taking well-deserved time off, it would be more appropriate for those dates to be blocked off on the annual calendar in advance to avoid scheduling conflicts and repeated cancellations. This particular appointment was scheduled months ago because there was limited availability for the procedure. Now, as a result of the cancellation, we are required to wait even longer, and I have not been offered any accommodations that fit my schedule. This has been very frustrating and feels unprofessional. Additionally, while the staff are generally courteous, there have been instances during exams where procedures and findings were not clearly explained. Information about what is needed or how brushing is progressing is not always communicated unless we specifically ask. Clear and proactive communication would greatly improve the overall experience.
Waiting to long and ended up rescheduling and leaving
too waits are too long and they have three dentists dr.
They were able to see me same day for a small dental emergency. Dentist and staff were great
They do amazing work here.
Had a appointment at 11 and left the office at 1:30pm. Waiting area is small and had no where to sit. Upon having my kids cleaning done, i did mention i work in pedo. Was told both my kids needed 3 crowns, was shown the xrays but never walked out with a treatment presented to me, just scheduled a appointment to return. 2 weeks later had a 2nd opinion and the work that was “needed” at Brooks was extensive and was no where near what my kids needed, if i had not mentioned i also work in pedo im sure they would have pulled more crown’s “needed”. The hygienist and dentist was nice but overall will not be returning.
Did great on my son‘s cleaning, but when it came to treatment. They didn’t give options and only gave hospital under general Anastasia. They said my son wouldn’t seat still but that wasn’t the case. Definitely had been to other offices where your child won’t be put under.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
