Christus Santa Rosa Hospital - Alamo Heights's Online Review Report Card

One week ago today, I had surgery done at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital-Alamo Heights and absolutely fell in love with the hospital and staff! Dr. Fearamonti, who performed the surgery, is not only an amazing physician, but so personable, polite, and professional. The nurses and staff at CSRH-AH were extremely nice, professional, and caring, which made me feel so comfortable being there. Even when I was being wheeled out from the hospital, the nurse was just so nice and thoughtful. The hospital is small , which I have to admit, is one of the reasons that I just fell in love with the place. There is nothing wrong with big hospitals, but the small ones tend to have a more family-type environment.After my surgery, the President of Admissions even came to see me (and my husband) to see how we were doing, and if we needed anything, to please let her know, giving us her card. I know for some this may not mean much, but it speaks volumes about an organization that takes time out to do this for every patient.Again, words cannot begin to express how happy I am with CSRH-AH and it’s staff. I highly recommend, if you’re having surgery done, and if possible, go to Christus Santa Rosa Hospital-Alamo Heights. You will be so thankful that you did!

First time trying this Emergency room and it was a great experience. From the moment I walked in everyone was so nice. They attended to me right away and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely use this Emergency room again. Thank you for making me feel better

I had surgery at this hospital and had a $1000 deductible on my insurance. I paid $360 towards the deductible and went to make a pymt and their bill showed I owed $975. I called the hospital and asked why the money I paid when I was told that there was a $1000 deductible doesn’t show on the bill. I was informed the insurance got the money. I spoke to the insurance and was told they never received the receipt that showed a pymt of $362. This is the way things are handled. I want to know where my money is.

This place has been the best hospital stay ever. My dad has been here for 10 days now and it’s been great! All the staff is so attentive and great attitudes all around. They have really exceeded my expectations, I hope the next facility is just as great. Thank you Christus Alamo Heights!

Exactly one week ago I needed urgent surgery for appendicitis.I had surgery after normal working hours and spent one night under the wonderful care of Christa Santa Rosa Alamo Heights.They greeted me at the ER door and immediately took care of me with zero wait time. Shout out to "Grace" in the ER who went out of her way to comfort and take care of me. She explained everything that she was doing and frequently would ask if there is anything else I needed.In the pre op "Lisa" went out of her way with the same wonderful care.Dr Allen Alvarez came in after normal working hours to perform the surgery. No complications and the recovery has been normal. Thank you Dr Alvarez.Thank you to ALL of the staff who did a wonderful job and if I ever need surgical care again I will not hesitate to return!

From checking in, the nurses, the doctor, everyone was so kind and understanding. I can't say it enough how much I appreciate the nurses. They genuinely care about my baby girl. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby girl.

I had such a great experience here. I opted for an overnight stay after surgery and the care I received was second to none! My Dr., nurses & anesthesiologist we’re all so caring and amazing. I would definitely recommend this hospital.

I would never recommend anyone to come here for ER services. Upon approaching the female staff worker who opened the door had an attitude the entire time. I told her my dads concern 3 times & she still had the concern all wrong. My dad was unable to speak due to excessive fluid build up and medication making him exhausted. We spoke to her for 5 minutes and she rudely just handed us the intake forms. She seemed to not have any genuine care. If we were treated rudely from just walking in the door there was no way I was going to let my father seek care here from unprofessional staff. We then went to NE Baptist where he was treated kindly, professionally, and quickly. I understand right now times are hard for everyone but the ER is the last place anyone wants to be, the least you can do is act professionally and kind.
