Donna Mcmyler's Online Review Report Card

i’ve been seeing Dr. Donna McMyler for years. She is meticulous trying to treat my numerous, hard-to-treat symptoms. I deeply appreciate her care and I understand all of my various medical issues just make it complicated to figure out if my symptoms are GI versus other medical issues I have. She stays on top of the various tests I need more frequently than once a year and I’m just glad she’s so knowledgeable and helpful.

The doctor and staff was excellent. Very kind and great bedside manner.

The most horrible experience in my life to try to schedule an appointment ! ! After my assistant waiting on line for 50 minutes she was told she could not schedule for me because of Hippa. On my return out of the country I called and after waiting 35 minutes I finally got a scheduling person only to be put on hold and then disconnected. I called again only to start the wait and process all over again but they refused to schedule because I did not have my Medicare Humana info on me although I told them it was the same thing as when she did my surgery. So I asked to speak to the doctor or her assistant and was told that they do not return calls and CANNOT speak to them. So I will go to an emergency room and obviously search for another doctor.

Posting on behalf of my mother. She had a scheduled appt in June at Gastrocon San Antonio and somehow she got rescheduled to Aug and we weren't notified. The doc she was scheduled with was out that day and since she was already prepped, Dr. McMyler stepped in to do the procedure so we weren't inconvenienced further. She was very professional and personable. Qualities you need when dealing with anything medical. I'm thankful that my mom's experience was a good one with Dr. McMyler. Mistakes happen but I'm happy to say they owned it and rectified the situation. Thank you.

Dr. McMyler is a very competent and involved doctor. She covered all possibilities of my pain issues and promptly followed up on resolving the issues. She is knowledgeable and experienced, prompt and professional. I highly recommend her and am pleased to have her as my doctor.

I’ve always used Donna McMyler, MD for any gastro issues and regular checkups including Colonoscopies. This is for my wife as well. Dr. McMyler is great! from beginning to the end of my routine colonoscopy. Staff is very friendly and communication was also very good. Dr. McMyler took her time with me and walked me through the process with a lot of patience, always made me feel at ease.
