Dr. Bussey-Smith is a rarity in the practice of medicine. She (and her staff) take the needed time with each patient; something you don't see these days. She's careful and thorough and well informed. She got my wife's asthma under control when other doctors could not!

I had people that search for specialist in a particular field that could help me. She was supposed to be one of them. Yet with no reason denied to see me as a patient most likely because of my fibromyalgia. They seem quick to take on easy patients to make quick money but deny those that could actually use the help. She apologized and said that they could not take me on as a patient. She is supposed to be a specialist in the field I need help in. Seems to me they are more like specialist on easy things and making a quick dollar then denying the rest.

I don't know when the Hippocratic Oath became a suggestion rather than a standard to practice by, but this and ALL doctors won't see you unless you agree to take all of the big pHarma they want to shove into your bodies and won't see a fully insured patient unless THEY decide to see you. INSANE!!! Doctors should be REQUIRED to post ALL of their requirements and demands so prospective patients don't waste their time!

Very easy to make appointment and you are seen as soon as you arrive. Staff is very cordial and helpful. Doctor Bussey-Smith truly cares about her patients. She listens, studies, consults and explains things with detail and patience. I have seen Rheumatologists for years, but she is a true professional and the best I've found. If you want the best care, I recommend Dr. Bussey-Smith.
