I am a Soldier and I can't be there with my 74 year old mother to take her to her doctor's visit. He was rude to her. She has limited mobility and he expected her to get on a table by herself and then he made the comment "you think your cute." To top it all off he prescribed meds that made her swell up like an elephant again.

ABSOLUTE WORST DOCTOR ! Run away if he tries to treat you. ! I have been in the medical field working with doctors side by side in several states in several hospitals for the last 8 years.... this animal is ARROGANT, RUDE, CONDENSENDING AND WILL NOT LISTEN TO THE PATIENT. If you try to communicate he will yell at you and tell you off. If you like having a doctor clinically not know you .. attempt to treat you... then almost kill you... go to him. He is the classic “God Syndrome” Doctor

Dr Abouzahr is a very kind and caring person and doctor. He has my son in his care, and I wouldn't trust him to any other nephrologist. We are impressed that he takes his time for the walk with a doc once a month. And he walks with my babyboy with kidney disease. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a nephrologist. God bless Dr Abouzahr!

Last summer,Dr. Abouzahr met my father in the ICU at Methodist Hospital. He pulled him out of advanced kidney failure after a heart attack. He is a fine physician. My husband, also a physician, was truly impressed.
