List of Federico R Ng's Reviews
Dr. Ng is an exceptional physician. I have been under his care for several years and have nothing but the utmost respect for his knowledge, professionalism, and the way he treats his patients. He is attentive, thorough, and truly deserving of his reputation. If this was based just on Dr.NG i’d give him 10 stars because he’s that good. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about parts of his administrative staff. On multiple occasions, I have had to call repeatedly—sometimes for days and even weeks—regarding prescription pre-authorizations. Instead of a smooth process, I have found myself going back and forth between the office and my insurance company just to ensure paperwork was submitted correctly. That level of follow-up should not fall on the patient. This has happened more than once, to the point where I had to drive 45 minutes on my day off and sit in the office to make sure a pre-authorization from the previous week was completed. When I attempted to address the issue by phone, I was hung up on. In person, there was no accountability, no apology, and no effort to understand how the situation could be improved—just a dismissive response. To be clear, not all staff members are problematic. Some of the nurses are excellent and kind. However, the department responsible for pre-authorizations, messages, and returning calls needs serious review. Recent online reviews reflect similar concerns, which suggests this is not an isolated experience. It is unfortunate that such a respected physician is being undermined by administrative inefficiency. I sincerely hope the office takes these concerns seriously, because without improvement, it risks damaging the reputation and practice of an outstanding doctor.
I dealt with the same issues with this provider for over a year. Refills were consistently delayed, and I had to call repeatedly—often multiple times a day—just to get a response. Many calls went unanswered to voicemail that they never bother to listen to, and staff admitted on more than one occasion that prescriptions were not submitted or were forgotten. Prescriptions were frequently written in extremely small quantities due to them prescribing them late he would cut my prescription for everyday they were late. During pharmacy shortages and back order , reasonable alternatives suggested by the pharmacy were refused, and the burden was placed entirely on me to resolve it. Overall, the pattern showed very little concern for continuity of care and far more emphasis on billing and payment. I would not recommend this provider. Unless you are prepared to spend significant of time and money monthly just to receive basic care.
So this is a 2 faced coin of a review. Dr. Ng is fantastic, he really does diagnostic medicine, not thet shot gun stuff most doctors do. He ask questions about you, you life style and symptoms and combines it all with lab results to figure out your issues, so for him alone, it would be 5 stars. Now the other side. Staff is very unprofessional, they way they dress, communicate, etc... appointments are terrible, it's hard to make one and then when you get one, you get there on time and then wait 3 hours to be seen. If you are going to expect patients to be on time or they cancel the appointment, I should be waiting that long to be seen. I understand being a little bit behind, but anything over an hour is ridiculous, and this happens all of the time. So sadly, my family and I will be searching for another doctor as of today.
Dr. Ng and his staff are fantastic. Dr Ng takes his time to listen to patient concerns, or to explain lab results thoroughly. My husband and I are his patients and we recommend him highly without any reservations.
Grateful for Dr. Ng!
The worst. i have tried for over a month to get an new patient appointment with this doctor. He has the WORST office staff. You call and call to get an appointment no one answers so you live a message. No one call's back. So you push to talk to a nurse someone answers great but no cos they put you on hold and they leave you there. I was left on hold for 20 MINUTES one time. I was looking for a new PCP. My co-worker told me about the doctor. She said she likes the doctor and he has good staff. So I was like great. I can't say anything about the doctor. Because I could not even get an appointment.
Staff is friendly ,very helpful and caring Dr Ng is the best!! He has been a life saver for my grandson for the last 5 years and brought us some peace of mind His medical expertise and compassion for his patients are superb A Blessing to our family
An amazing Doctor and staff!
Dr. Roman is one of those rare physicians who truly cares about his patients’ well-being. He asks thoughtful, thorough questions to ensure an accurate assessment and communicates clearly and directly about any health concerns. The staff is exceptionally helpful, appointments run on schedule, and everything is handled efficiently. I highly recommend Dr. Roman to anyone looking for an excellent doctor.
Great dr! He listens to my needs and takes action. I appreciate how professional and caring all the new staff are! He did move locations but no problem! I’ve tried several other doctors in the area! I have not found the combination of staff and Dr both being kind, helpful, and respectful! Thank you for all you do!
