What kind of service would you expect if you are paying $26,000?This clinic is disorganized and a prime example of poor personal and professional development. I'm a physician myself and am shocked at the audacity of the employees of this clinic. When calling to express a grievance over the phone: "If Sandra M. gets off the phone in the next 9 minutes she can give you a call back, because we close at 4pm"Sandra is the administrative manager. When trying to request updates on the egg donor process: "We don't tell you every step of the way. You expect us to call you about FSH/LH levels and every single appointment your egg donor has?" -Kris,Kris is the nursing manager and as reflected above has routinely exuded an attitude of annoyance and frustration. Particularly with simple clinical process questions, such as, "What is the next step for the egg donor? Why am I being charged $26,000 before I'm given any clinical updates?" You would expect a clinic that promotes the growth of families would take pride in consistent and positive customer care. The only saving grace to date was Sandra M who called back and expressed apologies for the lack of compassion, effort, and patient ownership her staff has expressed during our 2 years with this clinic. I’m perturbed that I was prescribed a progesterone medication that contains soy even though I listed soy as one of my allergies on my patient forms. It’s a good thing I read labels before taking a medication! I don’t think these people really read any patient files when prescribing medications. They didn’t even realize I was already taking levothyroxine when they told me my TSH came back high. The nurse proceeded to explain to me what levothyroxine is as though I’ve never heard of it, then I informed her I’m already familiar and have been taking it for years. Again, this was listed on my forms. Glad to get my levothyroxine adjusted, I suppose, since it had been awhile since I’d done so. Ladies with PCOS and Hashimotos like me, you might consider trying the keto diet and some strength training exercises and walking. It’s all about insulin resistance and supporting liver function! Avoid sugar like the plague! (I don’t miss sugar at all after detoxing from it.) I experienced secondary infertility for a year, then decided to give keto a try per advice from Dr. Ken Berry (and his wife who healed her thyroid with keto) on YouTube, and boom, I got pregnant within a month. I know that won’t work for everyone. But consider at least trying it before turning to expensive procedures.Note: in case anyone is confused, I got pregnant immediately after my first appointment here, without having received any intervention, simply got labs and ultrasound done. So, me being pregnant now is not because of their help.
Fertility center of San Antonio made or dreams come true! The doctors and nurses are amazing and truly know what they are doing. Thanks to these doctors and nurses, and ultrasound tech who all participated in our IVF journey, we are expecting our baby boy this July! 💙 I recommend this place in a heartbeat and reassure you are in great hands.
Such a great office all the doctors an all the staff are wonderful. I would definitely return again.
Was so excited to start the journey with the clinic unfortunately I’ve already had a bad experience. I had to call for day 1 of my period to do labs and test. I called and they scheduled the lab work and mentioned nothing of the test I needed. I hadn’t heard anything so I called again a week later and now it’s too late to do the tests I needed done and I have to wait til next cycle? No one follows up from the office. They just sent me a text saying to call on day 1 of my next period, when I don’t get a period regularly so I don’t know how long my cycle is. And are they going to follow up or give me a rx to start my period? Probably not. At this point it’s just frustrating. Did blood work on 1/25 and they have yet to follow up on results. When you call they just pass you thru like 3 stations to get to the right person.
I wanted to get another hsg test done since it’s been a year of doing natural therapies to heal and the lady I talked to was very rude and telling me I have to pay 158 to talk to the doctor and i can only get one if he recommends it. Definitely not giving this place any money after this.
We are so blessed that we found this clinic and Dr Neal and staff did amazing job we got pregnant from our first IVF treatment. After 7 years of trying for baby we got our little miracle girl. Thank you so much!
After my husband and I tried to get pregnant for 2 years and failed Fertility Center of San Antonio made our dreams come true and we are blessed to be having our daughter due June 12th 2022.
They are amazing!!! So grateful to them for helping us build our family 💗
Please I warn you, Stay away! This place is a money grab. They Charge 185.00 for a consolation to give you basic information that can be researched easily from google. Then they don't mention that you will be charged another 140.00 for a "mandatory re-consolation" that basically is the doctor telling you the results of the test you take (blood work..etc) before the initial process of even getting started. Anytime you need to cancel an appointment if you don't do it within 24 hours before the scheduled appointment there will be a 50.00 "no show" fee applied to your account.Okay fine no biggie, but what really made this place earn it's 1 star review is after being on the phone with the doctor and the nurse (yes a phone consolation for 185.00) and going over all the details and time frames for the entire procedure, when we went to try and schedule an appointment to get test done, we were told it would take 2 months to get the results of the test now instead of a couple of weeks thus rendering us unable to start the process on the approximate given timeline. Once the we get the test results after 2 months then we would have to wait another 2 months to then potentially start the process. This was not what we were told in the beginning. The inconsistency and surprise charges is already a red flag. Some other reviews mention this as well. They weren't lying. To add the cherry on top, the customer service is horrible. These women that work the front desk or the billing department always had an attitude when we had questions and they played phone tag, constantly passing the phone between each other because "they dont go over that, we only cover this portion". Had a phone call where i got transferred 6 times between 3 different departments.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
