Your service is awesome. Care was immediately found and there were many touch points to ensure care was secured. They absolutely understand urgency! They do everything as far as vetting, they listen to feedback and are sensitive to fluid situations. My Mom loves Lauryn. She has been so helpful with laundry, meals and safety as well as winning in dominoes against my Mom. The best thing I like about Lauryn is that she is reliable and very pleasant. Thank you Griswold for being out there for us and the aging population! 💕

Griswold Home Care is EXCEPTIONAL ! They have helped me connect to all the right resources needed for my husband’s dementia needs. Beginning with Shantelle who goes for walks with my husband and uses simple card games to reinforce his memory skills of math and recall. She also has him read to her which helps his speech. She is so general and caring and compassionate. He looks forward to seeing her each week. We also have great OT and PT in home started. I highly recommend this agency!

Griswald has been a life saver for my husband after his hip replacement. Norma made sure each caregiver was perfectly suited for us. Jenea was the best. Olivia was also very good. Afton was an excellent night help. She stayed alert and responded quickly.

I have been with Griswold for 10 years. This length of time attests to the care and service that I have received through the years. My caregivers have been good to exceptional. I have had Evita for over a year. Evita's initiative, planning ability, problem solving skills, and dependability makes her an excellent caregiver. For the last 16 months of my wife, Patti’s life, Griswold Home Care provided outstanding service for four hours, five days, a week. She was not an easy client from the start. She was discharged from rehab with a total hip replacement also suffering with a large pressure ulcer on her buttocks. It took an outstanding wound care team several weeks to just get it manageable. It was our good fortune from day one to have Rebecca from Griswold for Patti as she had experience supporting the wound care provider and especially me. I watched as she held Patti’s hand to comfort her when the nurse practitioner was debriding her wound, which was extremely painful. This was in addition to the routine care she did for her with same level of kindness. When Rebecca took another assignment, Cindy took over Pattis’s care and again we fortunate that she too had experience managing bed sores. Treatment was progressing as a new NP took over Patti’s case and eventually closed the wound. Cindy had lot of experience but felt she continued to develop her skills. As Patti’s dementia was getting worse, Cindy frankly needed a break. Because of the difficulties Patti presented as a client, her Care Coordinator thought it might be best to divide the week up using two caregivers. Heather worked Monday and Wednesday afternoons, and Samantha had Patti on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday PM. Due to poor circulation Patti developed another wound on her foot, which took her wound care team several months to close. Both Samatha and Heather are wonderful caregivers, each with their own way of dealing with Patti, whose dementia was very difficult to manage. Samatha was terrific in watching over Patti. She was very detailed and observant. She was great at recognizing changing conditions such as when she got shingles. Heather also looked after Pattti carefully, but her gift to caregiving was her patience and unique way of dealing with a very sick client. I called it the Mister Rodgers approach. She could get Patti to do things she did not want to do, like going to the doctor. It was amazing to watch her in action. Heather, I think started keeping notes on each day’s accomplishments and what could be done the next day. Samantha immediately picked it up and together they coordained Pattis’s care with care and impressive professionalism. In the end when Patti had a brain bleed and was in the ICU, it was Samtha who stayed with her in every afternoon so I could take a break. One time, when Patti had become unconscious but was clearly agitated, Samatha suggested to tell her nurse. When I approached her nurse, before I could say anything, she said is she agitated? I will fix that, which she did. So, my experience is that Griswold assigns only the best people who a perfectly suited each in their own way of being wonderful care givers. When it is my time, they will be mine.

Amazing team from the day my brother and I met Ryan, then Norma and subsequently Ms Angelica the personal care companion; we know we made the right choice for our loved one. Thank you Griswold Home Care for giving our family, during a difficult season, both peace of mind and heart.
