I recently had the opportunity to experience this medical practice, which was relatively new. I chose to establish it as my primary care provider due to the exceptional service provided by the staff, and the one NP. During my appointments, I was consistently solicited for feedback in the form of reviews, and the office would conduct follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction with my appointments. However, my experience took a turn when I was hospitalized for sepsis in January. Upon discharge, I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment two weeks later, but my primary care provider was unavailable. Although I understood that such situations can occur, I was attended to by a different doctor who oversaw the nurse practitioner. This physician was brief and rushed during our consultation, and their diagnosis contradicted that of the nurse practitioner. Further blood work was conducted, and eventually, my primary care provider, one of the nurse practitioners, explained the results and adjusted my blood pressure medication. A week after the adjustment, I experienced dizziness and disorientation. Despite reaching out to the office and being assured that someone would call back after consulting with a supervisor, no one did. This lack of follow-up was disappointing and not an isolated incident. As a patient, I believe it is crucial to receive timely communication, particularly when medication changes are involved. Unfortunately, my experience reflects a broader issue within the healthcare system. Given the size and multiple locations of this practice, I expect more comprehensive care coordination. Regrettably, I am now compelled to seek care elsewhere. I would like to commend the staff, particularly the front desk personnel, for their exceptional service and personal attention, from whom the higher-ups could learn a great deal.
