List of Joseph Diaz Md's Reviews
Save ur time don’t go here. Staff is rude and have big turn over. Alot miscommunication. It use to be good back in the day when Diaz was in off now he doesn’t go into the office often it’s like circus
I use to go to dr Diaz then stop due to not having insurance. I started going back horrible experience long wait to see doctor and to get shots. Staff are beginners and not knowledgeable or experience. Staff gives u incorrect info. Management says they will do something and they don’t tell dr Diaz. I would recommend going somewhere else.
I had suffered for over 15 years with a horrible cough that would not go away, i had been to so many doctors/specialist, allergy test, all the doctors would say is that I had asthma, tried every inhaler/disk/rescue inhaler out there, nothing would help, decided to give a specialists one more try, thinking i had lung cancer. i went to see Dr.Diaz he did several test, and realized it was not asthma or allergies, he did an mri and immediatedly saw that my right sinus was blocked with polyps and referred me to Dr. Nau, who did surgery to remove them........amazing, i have not the horrible cough since then...Dr.Diaz is amazing, friendly , and truly cares about his patients. i highly recommend him, thanks to him i can walk without getting exhausted, i can sleep through the night, i can breathe and i am no longer on any type of inhaler anymore, He gave me my life back after over 15 years of suffering.
The staff is very professional and very friendly absolutley high recommended,
I had an appointment (Sonterra ofc) and was next in line to be seen by the doctor. I sat in that room for 45 minutes. Went to desk and asked them when I would be seen and she said he was with a patient. I said but I was as 1:30, he saw me, but skipped right over me and went to the 2:00 patient while I sat in a room waiting. Nurse said she does not know why I got skipped. And that person was NOT there when I signed in. Unfortunately this was not the first time, so I left. No respect.
I went to this doctor last week and I was diagnosed with cronnic asmah in 2013 by Dr David Grant with 30 years experience. He said I was extremely bad with my cronnic Asmah. He had some lab work done on me. I was at 70 percent when I was haveing an Asmah episode. This new doc Lukena said I was not sick. When in fact I have been suffering fm cronnic asmah since before I was diagnosed by doctor David Grant a Asmah specialist with 30 years experience. He wants me on the machine 3 times a day. So no she's not a good doctor.
First visit to this office and I was not impressed. The staff is not pleasant and does not smile at all. They gossip among one another while you are standing in front of them waiting to get checked in or turn in paperwork. Not one of them had a friendly demeanor & I felt like I was interrupting their conversation by simply trying to check in because of the look they gave one another than the way they looked at me. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. The girl who called me back had entered my personal information under the wrong patient name which she didn't notice until I brought it to her attention. She was going to start tests and enter them under the wrong patient all together! Dr. Karkhanis was great and had a wonderful bed side manner. Problem is that when my test results came back, I tried to call the office to see if they could tell me what I am highly allergic too and I have no idea what is setting these severe allergic reactions. The staff is totally unsympathetic. I asked the front receptionist the following' " So I could eat something I am highly allergic to between now and the time I see the MD for my follow up and if I have another severe allergic reaction I'm screwed since I don't know what the trigger is." She flat out said "Yes, that''s the reason for the follow up. You'll have to go the emergency room if you have an allergic reaction! I was floored when she said that to me. The point of me going to get tested is so that I would know my triggers & NOT have to incur an ER visit charge. Once I get my results I will be looking for a new Allergy MD to see who has a more professional staff and that has some empathy for their patients and they health.
Very good & professional
The doctors are great! The staff is not the best and can rude and unfriendly at times. My biggest complaint however is the billing department. The few times I've been to this office I paid my co-pay at the beginning of my vist as I do with ALL my doctor visits but for some reason this office every time has tried to bill me again not just for the visit but for other felonious charges. Lucky for me I keep all my medical receipts and was able to get it all worked out, but it was inconvenient to say the least. I also wonder how many other people don't save receipts like I do, or don't even notice and just end up paying double which is why I'm sure they do it. You figure if half the people pay with no questions asked...that's a whole lot of money in someone's pocket. Maybe not the doctor, maybe the doctor doesn't even know? But if it was my practice I'd definitely want to get to the bottom of it, that's for sure. So if this has happened to you too, please let others know including your insurance company, thank you!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
