List of Leroy Jones's Reviews
Made two appointments. Was told to reschedule first time because did not have the referral. That's understandable but the second appointment was not. I made 3 calls to their office to confirm they had the referral and was never confirmed. They had the wrong PCP. I corrected that as my doctor had never seen the referral request. I called my doctor and after a few more times with my Dr I received confirmation my referral was sent. I called back and told Dr Jones staff it had been faxed and could they confirm. I was told it was probably there as they had about a hundred referrals on the fax. I showed up to appointment for the second time and no referral. They contacted my PCP and requested the referral again. After about a half hour the referral came through again but I was told I missed my Appt. time due to their negligence and would have to reschedule. No concern that I drive 100 miles for an appt, missing work or my time and effort, Staff is not professional and very uncoordinated, Never saw Dr and never will. Called my Dr who is a friend and told him never refer this Dr Jones again. Incompetent staff and uncaring Doctor for having this kind of front and back office. Don't waste your time because it will be wasted.
I NEEDED SURGERY FOR A WHILE AND I WAS HESITANT TO GET IT. I AM AN RN AT A LOCAL HOSPITAL AND ONE OF MY PATIENTS WITH MY SAME ISSUE, RECOMMENDED ME TO SEE DR JONES. HE REFERRED TO HIM AS "THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS AND THE BEST IN THE PROFESSION."THE FIRST TIME I WENT TO SEE DR JONES, MY INSURANCE WAS NOT THE BEST, AND THE PRICE TO BE PAID OUT OF POCKET WAS TOO MUCH FOR MY POCKET, AND I WAS MORBIDLY OBESE, DR JONES WAS VERY FRIENDLY, RESPECTFUL AND CORDIAL. HIS PROFESSIONALISM AND NON-JUDGMENTAL ATTITUDE MADE ME VERY COMFORTABLE AS TO ASK MANY QUESTIONS IN RELATION TO MY WEIGHT AND END RESULTS OF THE SURGERY. HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND COUNSELED ME ON WHAT IT WOULD BE BEST FOR MY CASE.EIGHT MONTHS LATER AND OVER 80 LBS LIGHTER I RETURNED. MY INSURANCE THEN WAS MUCH BETTER AND HE CONSULTED ME A SECOND TIME. IT WAS ALL VERY SMOOTH AND FAST AFTER THAT. HIS OFFICE STAFF WAS GREAT, PROFESSIONAL AND VERY PLEASANT. HIS SURGICAL COORDINATOR WAS AMAZING, THEY WORKED WITH ME AND SCHEDULED ME ON TIME FOR ME TO TURN IN A TIME FRAME AT WORK AND GET THE OFF TIME NEEDED.PRE-ADMISSION WAS SMOOTH AND FAST. I EVEN GOT A CARD THAT IDENTIFIED ME FOR THE SURGICAL DAY. WHEN SURGERY DAY ARRIVED, IT WAS SO SMOOTH THAT I WAS ABLE TO REST AND RELAX BEFORE SURGERY, I WAS VISITED BY DR JONES AND THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST AND THEY ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. THE LAST THING I REMEMBER WAS THE TRANSPORT TO THE OR, THE NEXT THING I REMEMBER IS WAKING UP FROM A DEEP SLEEP AND BEING OK. THE ONLY DIFFICULTY WAS THAT I WAS SO COLD I WAS SHIVERING A LOT, BUT PAIN MEDICATION WAS GIVEN TO ME WITHOUT DELAYS, AND MONITORING WAS AMAZINGLY ON POINT.THANKS TO DR JONES, HIS STAFF AND THE SAME DAY SURGERY STAFF AT METHODIST MAIN HOSPITAL, MY EXPERIENCE WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND HIGH QUALITY AND COMFORT. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH DR JONES!!!MY RECOVERY HAS NOT BEING BAD, SOME SWELLING AND SOME DISCOMFORT, BUT WITH SOME HELP FROM MY LOVELY PERSONAL NURSE(WIFE) I AM ALMOST BACK TO MY REGULAR SELF ONLY A WEEK FROM SURGERY. ONCE AGAIN, I APPRECIATE ALL OF THEM FOR THE AMAZING CARE AND SUPERB SERVICE.
Horrible experience. It was a semi-long wait, but being that I have been working in the health care field for a while now, I understand and that wasn't too much a concern for me. However, this DR (LeRoy Jones) has poor/horrible bedside manners. Came in, asked some questions, cut me off a time or two, ignored some of my concerns, checked me out physically (not thoroughly as I would expect an "expert" DR to do so), it felt as if I had come in there wasting his time with the expression he had in his face, he spent 90% looking at his computer rather than helping to explain whats happening and I actually left more worried and confused about my whole situation than when I went in. I had a better experience and comfort care at an urgent clinic prior to coming here , rather than coming to an "expert/specialist." Front desk was friendly I might add, and so was the MA who triaged me. As for the other clinicians there I have no experience with to write about. But, thanks to this DR I will not consider coming back and never recommend this place.
Appointments always on time. In and out quickly. Dr. Jones is very personable and friendly.
Extremely poor bedside manner and gets frustrated with questions.
The staff is very friendly and made me feel comfortable during my visit. I highly recommend them.
Dr. Jones seems fully qualified to perform the medical services I need and I have no issues with him as a urologist. However, seeing the doctor typically means waiting in the reception area and examination room far beyond the appointed time. Perhaps this is a front office/staff problem.
I have been a patient of Dr Jones for 5 years. The staff is always helpful in answering questions as is Dr Jones. He has a great bedside manner and very professional. I have been pleased with the services of Dr Jones and his staff.
No exam done. This is the second time I've seen Dr Jones where he never examined me at all, one time I asked if he was going to do it and he reluctantly did. You'd think a Urologist would at least examine the prostate of someone with a history of mild BPH and a previous biopsy for a benign lump. He basically made no eye contact, started at his laptop, reviewed my labs and meds and told me to come back in 6 months to review labs again. This after over an hour wait. Total BS, I'll find myself a new Urologist. I had good experiences with Dr Case, but he no longer goes to that location.
Dr. Jones rates five start; my life is the better because of his treatment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
