Dr Rodriguez is the best , listens and cares . His staff is the greatest

Had my appointment cancelled after I signed in by Dr. Santos. I realize they request that patients arrive early however I couldn't make it happen due to traffic issues. Ive been here before and have never been seen at the scheduled appt time that I arrived for. They usually dont see patients for about 30 min or later after the scheduled time of arrival anyways . They asked me to reschedule but I found that ridiculous and left and will never come back . They are never on time and expect patients to be there on time and still wait abnormally long to be seen.

Have had my primary here for over 20 years. If my doctor is not available for a sick visit another doctor or PA is usually available to help. It's a busy office but I always feel cared for.

On August 27, 2025, I texted them for a same day appointment with my primary care provider. Unfortunately he was unavailable that day, so I accepted an appointment with Dr. Carlos Roldan. When I was seen and examined by him, he stated that I was to go straight to the Methodist Hospital emergency room. He also said NOT TO DRIVE MYSELF! (HE STATED THIS 6 TIMES)I informed him that I had driven to my appointment by myself. AGAIN, he insisted that I have someone come to pick me up and take me to the Methodist Hospital emergency room. After examination by the emergency room physician, I was admitted to the hospital. When I was released from the hospital, I returned to MacGregor Medical Group only to find out that MY CAR HAD BEEN IMPOUNDED!!! He happened to be in his parking spot when I got there. He wasn't even apologetic for his negligence!! As a result, I spent nearly $300.00 getting my car out of impoundment!

Today is 2 weeks that my test results have been in. I've been trying to get since Monday. Unbelievable !!!! They have a patient portal but they don't put your test results on there. Why have this if you don't use it. Now they tell me I need to call the customer service portal. How is this my job. I don't have my results what could I possibly put. I had to ask for the 3rd time did you put my results in the mail. They supposedly did yesterday. My gosh you guys need help. I really like my doctor but it's like pulling teeth to get answers.

I have been a patient here for about 10 years. I can attest that these 1 star reviews are accurate. The administration / management / logistics of this place seemed to hit rock bottom over night about 5 years ago and they've never rebounded. I'm currently in the lobby as we speak and my appointment was 60 minutes ago. My guess is that it will be another 15 minutes before I'm seen, 30 min alone in a room and then 3-5 minutes with the doctor. (This is the average). Anytime I have to wait in the lobby for more than 90 minutes I send the doctor a text and ask him to reschedule as I had waited. (Update: I waited 90 minutes - no one would even answer me at the lobby desk so I left. I'm charged a no-show fee and the soonest possible next appointment is a month from now - for a simple medication refill). Are the doctors good? "Sure". None of them are "bad". If it wasn't for the fact I had over 12 years of medical records and history I would have gone to one of the 1000 other places in town. If I were the group of doctors at MacGregor I would fire the entire staff and administrators and relaunch immediately: modernize into 2025, this place is stuck in 2008. Since this has been going on so long it seems like they aren't even aware of how bad it's gotten (or worse, don't care).

I am honestly beyond frustrated. This place is absolutely unbelievable. I spoke with Cassandra earlier today to schedule an appointment with Dr. Manuel Rodriguez, and what she told me makes zero sense. Apparently, because I had my vitals taken three years ago by some doctor I don't even remember choosing, they've now decided she's my PCP? Without informing me? That is outrageous. Now I'm being told I can't even change my PCP because of that? Are you serious right now? How is it acceptable to assign someone a primary care physician without their knowledge or consent--and then refuse to let them change? This is my healthcare. I should be the one to choose the doctor I feel comfortable with. Not you. This is completely unacceptable.

The doctors & medical assistants at this clinic are exceptional--knowledgeable, caring & truly dedicated to patient well-being. Their expertise & compassion make every visit worthwhile. However, the front office staff leaves much to be desired. Patients should feel valued, not like interruptions to personal conversations or office tasks. A medical practice exists because of its patients & a little courtesy, efficiency & professionalism from the administrative team would go a long way in making the patient experience as excellent as the medical care itself. I was told repeatedly that lab work was walk-in & they would take me immediately. After I signed in & waited 15 minutes, I checked on the wait. I asked, "How much longer will it be?" The response I received was "You did not have an appointment. Look at this stack of patients! We'll get to you when we get to you. You were a walk-in." I said, "Bye." The office clerk said, "What's your name?" so she could take me off her list of thing ("patients") she has to do. I sincerely hope the office staff recognizes the importance of serving patients with respect, as the doctors & assistants here deserve a front desk team that reflects their own high standards.

I had a great experience with Dr. Amin. I came in for a physical after just turning 50 and she was thorough with her recommendations. She went over the vaccines I needed and certain tests that are recommended at my age. She was attentive and listed to me as I am also a cardiac patient . When I went have my labs done I was convinced that it would take several attempts to draw my blood ( I have small rolling veins and this has always been an issue for me) Christina was the one to draw my blood. I warned her that I am a hard stick and that it may take her a few tries. She was very nice and said she would look at both arms. I secretly think it was a challenge for her. Anyway, she took her time feeling around and then decided on which one she would try. She got it on the first try. I was elated and let her know so. It was a great office visit all around and even the front staff were really nice.
