Methodist Hospital received 75.2% positive feedback, with patients praising the professionalism and compassionate care. However, 24.8% of the feedback was negative, primarily citing long wait times, poor organization, and unclear communication. Overall, the practice is appreciated for its dedicated staff, yet it needs stronger administrative processes and better patient information.ScoreDoc Score

Come here if you want your love ones to not get fed in over 16 hours after surgery, not even including the fasting period before arrival and surgery. And multiple nurse’s drop the ball on basic care. And when you questions them they’re. Immediately defensive and nothing happens. If the sole responsibility is to CARE for you. Then expect the level of care and urgency to be in a 24hour response WINDOW. Blame has gotten out on the physician, then the previous nurse, then the current nurse admits fault. And nurse in charge is immediately defensive. And when speaking to management on the floor, you get met with, we will have you escorted out. Apparently because the questions asked offend their ego! When EGO here drives the way they handle your health and care, PATIENT BEWARE! Staff is to busy posting and texting and taking personal calls to move. Current experience end of June and beginning of July 2026! So not a past issue this is a current issue!
They never answer the phone during business hours. They schedule the night before for the next day. I like to schedule a week or more in advance. He went into the hospital. Genie scheduled a second physical therapy appointment and then never came and never called to say that she had made a mistake.
I was brought in by EMS while traveling through the airport. One of the absolute BEST ER experiences for an allergic reaction. Dr. and staff listened to me and asked me what works for me when I have a reaction. Nurses were great and very kind. They got me in and out quickly and I was back at the airport able to make the next flight home.
good quick care very good job and highly recommend
I donated my kidney At the Transplant Center and the whole experience was awful. I donated May 2024. It was the after care that they dropped the ball. Right off the bat pain control was disgusting. I had to go back to their ER for pain meds and got what I requested before discharge that they refused to give. Pain got resolved but my nausea continued for weeks which they did nothing to investigate. Through my GP I got a GI doctor and he resolved the issue. It was all the meds that they prescribed for my pain that caused the problem. Told them to remove my name from their list. I should have listened to my instinct.
Staff are great however cafeteria is worst I have ever been in. Card only and no cash. Coffee was cold. Lunch choice terrible. Self service. No grill for hamburger or chicken sandwiches. If you come bring your own lunch
this is the WORST Home Health agency ever. The OT and OT supervisor were very professional and great to work with. However, their health coordinators were awful. They denied my husband three times for services and gave us a different excuse each time. First, they told me they couldn’t provide services because his referring doctor indicated OT, PT and speech therapy; and their excuse was that they don’t provide speech therapy so they asked if I could get the doctor to resend the orders without speech therapy listed (they were too lazy to follow up themselves). After that, they gave me a separate excuse and said they couldn’t approve my husband because he hadn’t seen the referring doctor in four months. When I told the care coordinator he had a plan visit to his PCP that week, she told me as long as the PCP sent notes indicating that my husband needed services then it would get approved. After his PCP sent the notes and referral, they never called. I followed up with them three days later and talked to Maureen. She was very rude and told me that the insurance was not going to reimburse the agency for maintenance services for my husband. My husband has a progressive disease that worsens overtime, so it was really a slap in the face for her to say that, and all that she was concerned about was getting reimbursed by our insurance company. There was no concern or empathy expressed for my husband. To make matters worse, I spoke to the director Brandy and she never apologized when I explained the situation; instead, she said she was going look into the matter and get back with me on the same day, which was yesterday, and she never did. I’m very disappointed with this very unprofessional business..on top of everything..they are listed as Methodist Home Heath on their website, but they bill under a different name “Health at Home San Antonio”. Bye Felicia!!
Every doctor I have encountered is from a different country and their accent is very thick and can barely speak English! Wound getting admitted today and the bed leans to one side and dinner table for bed is disgustingly filthy full of rust and dust and smears of unknown source! The cafeteria called asking what I wanted to eat, I don't know I don't have any type of menu or anything. No bag to put my clothes in so they are just thrown on the floor! People say I'll be right back and are never seen again. I'm going to be sicker than when I got here before long because apparently house keeping and equipment maintenance is not any where near anyone's job description !
It was horrible. They came as if they were there to do wound care. Nurse came one day never returned. But they did attempt to do pt which wasn't ordered. When we called them trying to figure out what was going on they tried to blame surgeon. As we continued the next lie was the primary care ordered it. Also untrue they jumped back through a 3 month old referral for assessment for pt prior to surgery. They jeopardize my health and welfare being and were completely deceitful. Leaving me at risk for another infection and treating my open wound to guess work. Be very weary if this Company.
I would give zero stars if I could. Very Incompetent! They are completely unable to make an appt and follow through. I have had to coordinate my entire home health care because no one ever calls ahead, calls me back, or sets anything up after my hip replacement. I’ve been home almost a whole week and they’ve only shown up once so far, missing several scheduled appts or just ghosting me and never answering the phone to let me know when they were coming. Today I was really needing to see my home health nurse due to some swelling and wound site Issues. Nurse never showed up for our scheduled appt. 2 hours later, the nurse had someone else call and tell me she’s not available for my scheduled appt today and they will come sometime tomorrow even though I made it clear when we last spoke that tomorrow was not going to work for us due to other medical appts. . Of course, not only was I told it would be tomorrow, but I as also given no set timeframe, as they never do that. So if you have other appts scheduled and they show up at the same time, or if you need someone home to assist with putting pets away, you’re just out of luck. I’ve finally given up. Making my poor husband who is going through chemo and shouldn’t be driving take me in for appts at the clinic because even with all we have going on, it will be 1000x easier than trying to get someone to actually show up at my home from this company or provide me with competent home health care. I previously had home health when I had the other hip replaced in 2019 and it was wonderful and so easy to work with. I wish I remembered which company they were as they make this one look very very sad and completely incompetent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
