Amazing Doctor. Truly cares about his patients and tells them how it is and exactly what needs to get done. Plus, he's just extremely friendly and has a great demeanor about him. He helped motivate me to lose over 100 lbs and completely reverse my non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and any scarring. The fact that he was actually as pleased as I was with this outcome was genuinely uplifting and made my day. So if you can get in to see him (I know he is very busy) I would absolutely suggest him as your Gastroenterologist.

My recent colonoscopy went well, One polyp was found. I was asleep through the whole thing so I can't really comment on the procedure itself. I felt fine afterwords and a few days later got a note from Dr. Goirl restating that no problems were found. It is to be mentioned that I had to call in to remind your office that I was supposed to have a colonoscopy this year.

My GI physician retired after having been our doc for decades, and he referred me to Dr. Michael Guirl who clearly has continued the very high standards I have been used to and expect. I had the joy of having a colonoscopy. The staff made the experience seamless. Everyone was very professional and prompt. The whole process went smoothly. Dr. Guirl is always friendly and takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions that I have and not make me feel rushed or unimportant. DR Guirl, Did a super job on my Colonoscopy and Endoscopy. I was in at 1:20 and done by 1:50PM. Both procedures were painless, and his explanation of results was very thorough. I highly recommend him as a gastrologist. He is super. Only issue they need to respond quicker to messages sent to portal.
