I have never been more pleased with a Professional Office setting. Dr. Vaughn and his Staff are courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and excited about helping Patients. Highly recommend this Office!

What terrible front office staff. When I called to schedule an appointment for my son, we were told that he needs a referral. When I spoke to the person on the phone who scheduled the appointment, she told me that she did not need an authorization number, but just a document that states the doctor is referring my son to be seen. Now fast forward to today, our appointment, I show up with the document that the pediatrician had sent with us as the "referral". We make it to the triage area where we are approached by the "office manager" Adrian, who states that they do not have a referral so he cannot be seen today. I have taken off from work, pulled my son from school, just to be told he cannot be seen. I told her that I spoke to someone on the phone and that all they would need was a letter stating he could be seen. She proceeded to tell me that the document needed to state the time frame, for what reasons, and how long he should be seen. I told her that no one told me that. She said I was the one who spoke to you on the phone. I told her then that you did not tell me that the form needed to include that information. She responded with that the pediatricians office should know that when doing referrals. I told her well clearly they do not because that is the information I brought, and if it needed to say that specific information she could have said that on the phone. She said "well then they shouldn't be issuing referrals". I told her she was extremely rude and we left. I feel that the woman I spoke to was extremely rude and coming to find out she was the OFFICE MANAGER, and that's how she treats potential clients/patients? The representation for this doctors office is unprofessional. How that situation was handled was ridiculous. Come to find out when scheduling my son with another allergist, the insurance he has DOES NOT REQUIRE A REFERRAL. ACROSS THE BOARD WITH ANY ALLERGIST. So this was all for naught.

My mother is a patient here, and has recommended me to come here as well. The Dr. is a nice guy and I've had no problems with him whatsoever. However, is it the front desk staff that is very problematic. The lady is incredibly rude, and doesn't make any kind of eye contact... it's hard to know if she's even talking to you. Plus she is very negative and makes you feel as if you shouldn't be there. As much as I think the doctor is great, dealing with her before the appointment and after is super uncomfortable and stressful. Unfortunately I'll have to going somewhere else where I can feel welcomed.

Dr. Michael Vaughn ("Dr. Mike") is simply AMAZING! The allergy testing he recommended has literally changed (and saved) my life. I'm forever appreciative of this very fine physician who is exceptionally approachable, talented, and generous with his time during office visits. He's quite likely THE BEST out there. Staff is wonderful, too. Many, many thanks!! :)

When I told my rheumatologist that I thought that some of my joint pain was related to foods that I was eating, he referred me to Dr. Vaughn. I'm so glad that he did! After running more traditional food allergy tests on me, Dr. Vaughn explained the LEAP testing option. Although insurance didn't cover it, it was well worth the cost to find out what more of my food sensitivities were. Dr. Vaughn was especially helpful in interpreting the test results. Instead of recommending that I follow the strict elimination diet that the LEAP materials proposed, he called me and helped me determine which of the main food groups that I should probably avoid. The craziest thing was that the tests found that I was highly sensitive to tea. TEA! I was drinking tons of it every day to stay awake, and the whole time, it was making me fall asleep in the middle of my office (face down on my desk)! I would have never ever suspected it. Cutting way back on dairy has also saved me tons of pain. I've had past doctors call this fibromyalgia, and I've had it for over 15 years. Figuring out my food sensitivities has made nearly all of my stomach, joint, and fatigue issues go away. I absolutely recommend visiting this office. I also found the office staff to be very organized and friendly.

Thankfully, I was referred to Dr. Vaughn by Dr. Wood, I have dealt with many Allergists in my life. Dr. Vaughn is one of the best doctors I have been referred to in the past 10 yrs. I felt he actually listened to me and I feel he cares. Although I have been to over 12 Specialists for Hashimoto’s in the last 10 yrs, he and one other doctor are the only Providers that personally called me with lab results. He has always been available to answer questions. On 3 different occasions I had questions, I called thinking I’d have to make an appt but was pleasantly surprised his wonderful staff whom always have been very friendly and actually act like they like their job unlike other doctors offices I have dealt with, have asked Dr. Vaughn my questions and they got answers within minutes saving both time and money in not having to make appointments to answer my questions. Where other Allergists concentrate on environmental and food ALLERGIES, Dr. Vaughn is willing to look at food, medication SENSITIVITIES and mineral deficiencies. I feel he thinks outside the box and thanks to him and his tests my Hashimoto’s is better controlled because it’s not food allergies that affect me but food and medication SENSITIVITIES that were triggering my Hashimoto’s therefore attacking my thyroid, my thyroid is doing better! Thank you Dr. Vaughn and staff for the great care you all provide, I’m so grateful Dr. Wood referred me to you and that you take my insurance.

It was very easy to get a quick appointment. They were on time and everyone was polite and personable. I thought Dr. Vaughn was very nice and charming, and genuinely cared about my current sinus and allergy state. He uncovered a myriad of sinus, allergy and asthma problems I didn't know existed. He even referred me to a colleague for a CT scan of my sinuses which confirmed his suspicion of a long term sinus infection. Now I have a "team" of allergists at my side, and after only 24 hours of treatment and prevention, I can breathe exponentially better, and I can run without my chest closing up! I look forward to a new life without a stopped-up, runny nose, constant sneezing and bloated belly. I just hate that I hadn't gone to him sooner. I just can't say enough wonderful things about him and his practice. :)

Dr. Michael Vaughn is one of the worst doctors I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He interrupts his patients when they are trying to explain their concernd, because he is so focused on sticking to the questionaire he wants to follow. A questionaire he should probably have included in patient paperwork. On my second visit, when I tried to speak, he interrupted with, “Let me finish.” He seems more concerned about his own agenda than seeing to the patient’s needs. I asked to be tested for Exercise Induced asthma, but was only tested for regular asthma, which was negative. When I mentioned the exercise induced asthma, he threw a prescription for an inhaler at me “to try” but when I tried to follow up with his staff later, I couldn’t get them to show any interest in helping me with asthma maintenance, despite the fact that I was telling them the inhaler worked. Dr. Vaughn also did allergy testing on me. Now I have previously had allergy testimg three times before. Once by a tech in my primary doctor’s office. Multiple allergies showed up, but Dr. Vaughn dismissed them because he assumed the tech was unqualified to allergy test. I have also previously been tested two other times by other allergists, the last time a mild Elm allergy showed up. Dr. Vaughn proceeded to do allergy testing on me, which came out negative, and after some shallow questioning, he declared that I have non-allergic rhinitis. However, I have since then been sick twice, once when elm pollen was out, and now with mountain cedar. My ENT treated me when I had a stopped up ear during the elm pollen episode, and she agreed that I showed obvious signs of allergy. I regularly have suffered seasonal episodes of rhinitis, watery eyes, scratchy throat, ear problems. I can easily tie pollen counts to each episode. I now highly suspect I have what is called Local Allergic Rhinitis, which typically has negative skin and blood test results. I am frankly annoyed that Dr. Vaughn decided to ignore the fact that I had positive allergy test results on my arms in the past, and consistently negative on my back, all because he disapproved of a tech testing me. She had tested me on the arms. He had no proof the tech had done the testing improperly, but insisted she had, simply because she “wasn’t a doctor.” Dr. Vaughn made no attempt to try to discover why I might be testing positive on some body locations and negative on others, because of this prejudice of his. Again, I can consistently tie pollen counts to my episodes of illness, but because he wanted to control the interview’s direction with me and speak over me, this was never properly addressed. Dr. Vaughn also insisted I start nasal rinses, despite the fact that I told him that I have a chronic history of eustachian tube dysfunction. After 4 days of rinsing I was forced to stop, because water was backing up into my eustachian tube and ear. Dr. Vaughn has terrible bedside manner and is a poor listener. He would rather speak over a patient than allow the patient to air their concerns in a manner they feel most comfortable with. I would never recommend him to anyone after my bad experiences with him. I am very frustrated that basically no maintenance has been done on his part to monitor my Exercise Induced Asthma as well. The only reason I am giving him 2 stars was because he was the only doctor to think to check my Vitamin D levels, which were found to be severely deficient. I am currently looking for a doctor who will listen to me and will care enough to give my allergy symptoms the proper attention and testing that they deserve.
