List of Rita E. Cuevas's Reviews
Don’t waste your time going here. Dr Cuervas from the get go was talking down to me, and was very unprofessional. I waited in a room for 40 min (when I was the only patient there) while her and her employees gossiped while I was waiting to be seen. My pcp did some testing and wanted me to do additional testing and she refused to do any other tests, even though my doctor referred me to her to do additional testing. Other rheumatologists have a 6 month waiting list…..now I know why Dr Cuevas has no waiting list. You’re better off going to any other rheumatologist and wait the 6 months than go here.
I love Dr. Cuevas, I have been with her for years. She is very thorough and will always answer all of your questions. I trust in her care and will recommend anyone to go see her!
I have never been one to take the time to leave a review, but the amount of disrespect I encounter with this dr I just needed to share. As a former employee and with the few years I’ve worked in the medical field. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism from a provider till I worked for Dr Cuevas. For the patients who ask and comment about the high turn over rate you see within her office it’s solely because of her. The complaints about the phones never being answered or the voice mail being full, the delay on the referrals, prior authorizations and the inconsistency of insurance policies is due to her lack of knowledge on how to run a business. ( Maybe if she would stop being cheap and hire a third person patients would be attended to in a timely manner) but she is not willing to invest in having a successful team. Also making rude comments, belittling and finding any reason to complain is her way of communicating. No respect is given for the amount of work she expects two people to do to run her clinic. Patients and reps don’t see what goes on within that office. The list could go on but I hope that answers the question that’s always asked. She’s the problem not her staff.
Working in that office I would not recommend anyone to work there nor would I refer a patient. Dr Cuevas is rude and talks about her patients as soon as they walk out the door. She’s rude to her staff that’s why she has a big turn around in that office. No patient or employee should feel belittled. I have never worked anywhere with no professionalism.
I do not recommend this office to anyone. After waiting almost two months to be seen by the doctor, I was told the day of my appointment that they are not accepting my insurance provider, a very unprofessional front desk, when I scheduled the appointment I provided them everything, I called them two weeks before my appointment to make sure I'm scheduled and nothing is missing, my surprise was that they are not accepting my insurance anymore. I can't say anything about the doctor since I didn't see her ,but her front desk stuff has no relation with a professionalism.
I have been seeing Dr. Cuevas for years. Without her, I would not be moving. My RA is under control. She cares about me as a person. I cannot imagine having a better doctor. Thank you.
It's 9:50 am on a Tuesday, unable to reach the office. CLOSED? Website shows as OPEN? Answering service is not responding.
She very nice and gets on medical care promptly.
I have been going to see Dr. Cuevas for many years now. I have always received great care. I had a problem with renewing a rebate I receive for one of my medications, which I was out of and couldn't afford without the coupon. It required some documentation from Dr. Cuevas. Alice, that works at the desk, was extremely helpful in understanding what documentation needed and returning my call to make sure everything got turned in correctly. I appreciate the extra effort she gave me. I wanted to make sure her good works were recognized and did not go un noticed.
My sister has serious memory issues so, at her request, I always attend doctor visits with her. They would not allow me to see the doctor with her. A wasted trip since we will never know what she found out. Also we waited over an hour for the appointment. Plus you have to pay for parking.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
