Dr Sweeney has been great! She is very knowledgeable and explains everything to me. I love how she gives me different options when I have food items I can’t have. If I have questions she gets me answers. I also love how she works with me at my speed and is never pushy with changes I need to make for my health and nutrition. I was feeling like a beaten dog by the time I arrived in this clinic. I had bounced from doctor to doctor, always being told I was “fine” when I knew I wasn’t. I had unrelenting, severe depression, gastrointestinal upset, hypertension, chronic fatigue, irritability, skin lesions, chronic hemorrhoids, and the list goes on. I knew I wasn’t fine, despite being told otherwise, but I had resigned myself to thinking this was just normal aging, given that every doctor I had seen didn’t find anything wrong. In addition, Dr. Jay Sweeney was able to correct some long-term joint pain through simple adjustment; no drugs or surgery needed, as well as clear some past emotional trauma through NET – something traditional talk therapy/counseling failed in doing. I think it's important to have a chiropractor who understands your goals as an individual, and Dr. Jay does just that. He works hard to bring you the best care possible so that you can be free from pain, and get back to the things you love as soon as possible. Dr. Sweeney corrected back issues I'd had for many, many years prior to meeting him and he raised my quality of life considerably. We spent many sessions working through my issues and he was able to nullify issues that had caused me considerable pain and suffering for quite some time. I've no doubt his dedication to accupuncture is every bit as professional and I would not hesitate to work with him as my chiropractor in the future. I've trained as a chiropractor, and have been treated by some of the best in chiro, acupuncture, functional medicine, homeopathy, energy medicine, etc. I catch on pretty quick when a doctor is not truly masterful or is a one trick pony advertising as a well rounded doctor. I've lived in San Antonio almost year and went through a few duds before finding Dr. Sweeney. He is a masterful adjuster and thorough. So far acupuncture treatments are excellent as well. Good technique, effective. A caring doctor with good/proper patient-doctor boundaries. He is informative, answers questions well and completely. He is immersed in the science and art of what he practices and still continues to keep educating himself way beyond what is required, which is a common trait of doctors who actually heal people and are true masters of their crafts.
