Texas Healthcare Solutions has been outstanding. Thei Pt, Ot and CNA have all been phenomenal. Abby the physical therapist has been and still is...outstanding with my 96 yr.old mom. Annie the ocupationsl therapist has been absolutely wonderful. ..as well. Their compassionate care is beyond words. My mom also had a phenomenal CNA...who poured her heart and soul into her work. Natasha was more than a CNA. She was a friend.and... her dedication and hard work were and are... truly evident in all she did and does. Over the past 6 months, Cara has become one of the most important members of my care team. She has consistently gone above and beyond in providing compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient-centered care. She not only takes excellent care of my medical needs, but she also advocates for me when concerns arise and helps ensure that my healthcare team understands what I am experiencing. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to listen have made a tremendous difference in my quality of life. She is not only an exceptional nurse but also a trusted advocate and source of encouragement. I am incredibly grateful for the care she provides and for the positive impact she has had on my health and well being.
We had home health services set up with THCS for wound care, Nursing & PT after my husband was released from the hospital after a 3 month stay. The 1st week home was the most important for us as my husband had an open incision wound that required a wound vac while in the hospital. He also just had 2 nephrostomy tubes inserted & home health was going to help us learn how to care for it. The 1st visit, on a Monday, was with a Nurse who was there to evaluate my husband's needs so proper care could be scheduled. The visit was great, we liked the Nurse, and felt confident that my hubby was going to get the care he needed. Boy were we wrong! Everything after that was a nightmare. We were told he would be scheduled to have someone come out every day that week starting on Tuesday...Nursing/wound care, PT, and occupational therapy. When we got no confirmation call or text Monday night about Tuesday's visit, which we were told to expect, I was a little concerned. I called their office Tuesday morning to ask what was scheduled for the day. I was told that nothing was scheduled for Tuesday, but Wednesday we were to expect a visit from both Nursing/wound care & PT. Again, no one confirmed Tuesday night and no one came on Wednesday. When I called, I was told we were scheduled for Thursday. I told them I was concerned that we weren't going to get the care my husband needed this 1st week. They apologized & assured me he would. Thursday, an Occupational Therapist came & gave my husband a sponge bath. No Nurse/wound care. I called the office again to voice my frustration & concerns...they apologized. Friday, a Nurse did finally come & helped clean and bandage his wound and nephrostomy sites. She scheduled directly with us to come back early Monday morning since we had a doctor's appointment that afternoon. Sunday night, we got a confirmation text from a different Nurse who said she'd be out Monday afternoon during the time frame we wouldn't be available. After texting back & forth with her trying to understand what happened to the scheduling we had set up already with the Nurse from Friday, we were told that the original Nurse had been moved to another route. The new Nurse said she was fairly confident she could arrive before our cut-off time of 2pm. Yay, we thought! Nope. The Nurse texted us at 1:51pm on Monday to let us know she would not be there by 2. That was the final straw. I called the office discontinued service with them. My husband missed getting care for practically the entire 1st week he was home. And because we had to go through the process again of finding another home health company & waiting for the new referral, he missed getting care for the entire 2nd week as well. To say I was angry, frustrated & disappointed is an understatement. We were absolutely let down by a company who was supposed to help my husband. I had to Google how to care for the nephrostomy tube insertion sites, how and when to flush the lines & change the collection bags. I also had to Google continuing wound care, what supplies we need & what to look for if infection sets in. The employees who did come out were wonderful. None of this was their fault. The fault lies directly on their scheduling process & lack of communication. This is a company issue. They could have the most amazing employees in the world, but if the company is unreliable then nothing else matters after that. I have no idea how this company has 4.7 stars & great reviews. They just expanded services from their original specialty of hospice care, so maybe their hospice services are what earned them the good reviews? If I could give -5 stars, I would. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend Texas Healthcare Solutions to ANYONE who is needing home healthcare. Needing home healthcare for your loved one is worrisome & stressful enough. And being able to depend on your home healthcare company is CRUCIAL! This company was undependable at every turn, and they completely let us down. Run, don't walk, toward any other home healthcare company if you actually need reliable home healthcare.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
