Do not bring your child with you on your 1st visit. This clinic is open to the ENTIRE city and so they operate through multiple screenings and intake visits. A parent 1st has to qualify their child via a call center where they ask you why you think your child should be seen. Then, the parent ONLY will need to come in to set up the child's residency, financials (they use sliding scale and medicaid), ID, etc. No need to take your kid out of school for this. Be here at 7:45 to get into one of the few daily slots they have (1st come, 1st served and the queue resets everyday). Then, you'll bring your child for an Intake Evaluation where a counselor sees what professionals are best suitable, their professional opinion, and typing out a general recovery plan. They'll interview them with you in the room. Then, the recovery plan becomes more detailed as you visit with other professionals, counselors, & doctors. Admittedly, its complicated but its a system set up to help as many ppl as possible for the lowest cost possible. Hope this helps.
I highly recommend to choose a different health care provider. This provider's method to accept new patients is very odd and highly inconvenient. My experience: I contacted them to set up a new patient. I answered all the questions I could over the phone and I was told to come into the clinic anytime M-F from 0800 - 1500. I said, the absolute earliest I can make is 10 am. They said that is fine. I arrived Monday morning at 10 am, after keeping my son out of school, we arrived at the clinic and was told "We are full for today, try again tomorrow". I spoke with the receptionist explaining the earliest I could arrive is 10 am. I was told "we have an appointment available tomorrow at 9am" I repeated "The absolute earliest I can be here is 10 am". The receptionist then said "Well we open at 8 am". Very unhelpful. So I left. I called there main number, and explained to the person who answered what happened. I asked "So how can we do this, if I am going to get turned away at 10 am everyday?, I cant very well be taking my kid out of school every single day trying to roll the dice to see if we can get in on that day". I was informed they have a virtual processing, and that I could try that. So the next day, I contacted them at 9 am, said I am ready for the virtual processing. They sent me a link via email for the Zoom or whatever app they use for virtual. I was in this virtual waiting room until 2pm. That is 9 am to 2 pm, just waiting. I called them up, to ask what is going on. They said, "sorry sir, you can try again tomorrow if you wish" Hard pass, 2 days in a row they completely wasted my time. There would not be a 3rd. I went with a different provider, and I suggest you do as well.
Just called to get a first-time appointment. Their process for signing up with them is strange and highly inconvenient. They want you to call first thing on any morning and wait on hold until someone has time to talk with you, at which point, you will do a 2-3 hour zoom meeting...just to sign up for your first appointment. If someone else calls before you, I guess you wait on hold...for hours? And if they're busy, you get to try again another day. It's 3 hours plus wait time just to get on the books? Apparently there's no way to fill out paperwork online or anything, this is just how they run things. Hard pass. I think I'll find someone who can figure out how to schedule patients better than this.
I took my kid here a few years ago. The receptionist are really nice. The"Proffessinal Staff" has horrible manners.(Had same issue with 2 different therapist)They dismiss every concern your kid has and they make them feel like they're stupid. They will come out of there thinking they are worthless. I reported it once. The next appointment they treated my kid even worse. I will not recommend this place to anyone. If you're taking your kid here, make sure you pay attention on how they talk to them. As parent you want help for your kids and not someone who makes them think they are worthless. This place needs to be checked often. Very Unprofessional therapist. If I could give 0 stars I would. Biggest regret of my life taking my kid here!!!!!!!!!!!
The front desk is amazing. They took care of my child very well. I am not a huge fan of the case workers or therapist, but his psychiatrist is great. The doctor listens to the issues at hand and addresses them.
Caring and patient staff has delivered consistent and affordable mental health care for my family for over two years.
We have been going here for over 2 years. The receptionist Judy is always smiling and polite. The counselor are very good with my child. There was a lady name Beth would always check up on my son and she was always happy to help with school problems. I really appreciate people like this it is rare now a days!!!!! Thank you so much
This place is not professional in any way !They are still trying to bill us for services that I did not ask for . They changed my child’s care plan and did not notify me that I would be billed for this until 4 sessions later . And It probably would not matter so much if their care for my child was actually somewhat of any help or even good at all !! They do not care at all for their clients ! Do not bring your child here !! I only put 1 star because there was no option to give none …
Stay clear of this place. We have insurance which covers psychiatric issues and we were assigned a doctor. We made appointments to see said doctor. When the doctor is not available they sent my child to a life counselor which is not covered by insurance. They don’t tell you anything until months later and multiple visits later when you now have a bill for $300. This is very unethical and probably against some insurance regulations or something. I’ve been trying to get this resolved since November with no luck. First I escalated the situation and spoke with Eugene Garcia and Ore recently with Brenda but still nothing has been resolved. Now I can’t get anyone to answer the phone. The billing department is extremely rude and only says pay up when you speak with them. I can’t believe this is a legitimate practice! My next step is going to be contacting my insurance to try and get this place taken off of authorized providers.
Yesterday I took my son up there for a follow-up out patient treatment the receptionist should not have her job she is the first one that people are seeing needing help or continuing to get treatment she first said to us well let's see if you even qualify like no hope kind of attitude no care and concern it saddens me that they would hire somebody like that to be there receptionist for office personnel for the place of business that they are...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
