Best children Emergency fast and good service
Rude staff. I tried to explain why I was there with for my daughter and the check in person interrupted me rudely while I was trying to tell them why my kid was needing to be seen. Just rude! I went to another hospital and will never let her been seen by Christus!
DO NOT GO HERE!!! I AM BEYOND FURIOUS!! THESE PEOPLE DONT CARE AND ARE LETTING COVID POSITIVE CHILDREN GO WITHOUT CARE!!!
This place is a joke. Don’t waste your time. The front desk has no tact and the doctor acted clueless.
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. Doctors, Nurses and staff were so sweet, felt warm and welcomed instantly. As soon as I stepped out the patient room, the front office emergency staff offered some assistance by watching my 16 month old son as I handle business. lol. My son did not cry at all and he enjoyed their company as they went an extra mile and blew bubbles to distract him!. Been to many emergency rooms before but this one really stand out amongst the crowd. My son and I left very happy home. Thankfully he's better now.
Mom of a toddler here! The three times we have gone it’s always super fast!! Dr and nurses are friendly as well. The downtown locations is horrible. But this one is worth the drive !
Doctors don’t have empathy for children in the er thats for sure! The doctor told me my 9 year old was being dramatic which was really disturbing to hear from a children’s doctor. I will for sure not return!
The nurses are super nice and helpful but the doctor sent my son home after taking 2 minutes looking at his swollen eye and determined it was just a bug bite n gave him Benadryl the following morning he woke up with his eye swollen shut he’s 1 and half ! Thankfully his pediatrician was able to see him that same day n determined he had an infection under his eye caused by a bug bite and if we had waited any longer he could of lost his eye sight!! I understand that these doctors have a long list of patients but to be so careless and reckless with my child’s safety is heart breaking. My pediatrician informed me that Methodist in the medical center is better equipped at handling children related emergencies and will take better care of my child. Don’t waste your time.
My daughter is 21 & special needs, she is being seen by pediatric genetics with CHOSA, Dr. McLean, & I took her to the ER for fever 4 days now. Dr dubois discharged her with a screen stating febrile illness, he stated the need for urine or labs, but refused to treat her due to her age. I’ve been alternating Tylenol 1G & ibuprofen 400mg every 4-6 hours, otherwise her fever returns. I’m also attempting fluids, she has a decreased appetite. But he would not even run basic labs.
I will give 5 stars for nurses and facility only, I been there few times for my kids, but last time I check in for my daughter after we call her PCP and they informed us to go to ER immediately, so I pay 370$ in front which is supposed to be 100$ for emergency room with my insurance with blue cross, any way they send bill few month later saying I have to pay 800$ coz insurance not cover because the doctor didn't put it as emergency in documents, I submitted claims with insurance to fix the issue that doctor who did nothing only one test for my daughter so I have to pay 800$ plus the 370$ that I paid already, not happy with the service

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
