List of The Emergency Clinic Alamo Heights's Reviews
The Doctor was great gave me options based on getting to know me a little bit. Not your typical emergency clinic I would highly recommend them
By far one of the fastest and most thorough cares I have ever had in an emergency setting. The longest wait I had was for the results of the two scans I had done. In the building at 1900 and out with a plan of action by 2130. Everyone was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. I was kept up-to-date with everything and why there was a wait. Even called me a couple days later to see how I was doing. Definitely recommend if ever in a situation that needs urgent attention. I'll come back if I ever need to do so.
Alamo heights it’s probably the only emergency room I go to. Very nice staff. They work quickly. They’re compassionate and understanding.
Nurses and doctor were extremely kind, helpful, and thorough! Highly recommend.
I have had nothing but excellent care here.
This clinic was excellent! Everyone I came into contact with was friendly, helpful, professional, caring-highly highly recommend!
I was really disappointed by the care I received here. I went in on a recommendation from a friend, but I won’t be using The Emergency Clinic again. The front desk was fantastic, warm, and efficient. However, after I made it to an exam room, the staff became dismissive and cold. The doctor asked me very few clarifying questions (I’m in healthcare and know what constitutes a competent clinical interview) and did not provide much for explanations. At the end, after having already gone over test results and received medications, I had to ask the doctor what his diagnosis was…as I was being shuffled out. The staff also spoke loudly about patient information (and the Pad Thai they were looking forward to eating once I left—I was the only patient in the clinic at the time) in the hallway. I would have been a little more understanding if the clinic had been slammed, but it wasn’t. Dismissive attitudes and treating patients like they’re an inconvenience is unfortunately a huge part of why folks don’t seek healthcare. If you want a quick-and-dirty, probably-mostly-accurate diagnosis, followed by some meds that may or may not be explained to you, all with providers who clearly have somewhere better to be, I’d highly recommend The Emergency Clinic at Alamo Heights.
This clinic is always staffed with fantastic people. They are kind , thorough and we appreciate their approach to care .
Experience was easy all the way through. Prompt, intelligent care.
I have been here three times and give the doctors and staff 5 stars all three times!! I have expediently received excellent care, every time. They are thorough and twice discovered conditions that could have developed into major health problems had they not gone the extra mile!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
