I seen his fathers for years before I had seen him. His father went into private practice and my insurance was not comparable. So when I found out his son was at Ut I was so happy. He has been very important on my road to taking my life back! So knowledgeable and compassionate I’m very thankful to Dr. Matthews!

Dr. Matthew is a very special psychiatrist. He has touched my life and the many others he has served. He is warm, genuine, compassionate and very knowledgable. I could'nt have made it without him :)

i've been to many shrinks-Dr. Mathew's 1 of the best. Hes kind, has a great bedside manner, is very knowledgeable, yet always open to my thoughts& concerns. Hes just as vigilant now as when i 1st started seeing him a few years ago. I've never felt like my point of view was dismissed b/c i'm "sick" and dont know what's good for me,even when that may have been the case. If you want a dr. to blindly write you 'scripts for whatever is on your pill popper's wish list, he's not your guy, but if you want someone to help you get your head together, or to get/stay on the wagon, give him a call. He's not scary or intimidating,nor will you feel judged, you can usually get an appt, in a decent amount of time,& i've never heard of him turning down anyone who asks4 help. I'm a difficult patient at best, i do not trust drs, but i trust him more than most, & feel like he always has MY best interest at heart.

Dr. Matthew is a great psychiatrist, with a well versed staff of therapists. He is prompt and knowledgable and has a wonderful bedside manner.
